I am a true believer of when you really want to make something happen you need 5 letters for that. F O C U S.
It’s not always easy and sometimes the circumstances make it hard. Also, we are not all that privileged on this planet that we’re able to decide what we want to do ourselves. But….when we have the possibility to be able to make choices and preferably try to aim to reach our (heart) goal we have the responsibility, in my opinion, to aim for that and do the work. Cause so many are simply not in our position. I feel very blessed that I was able to try to reach for what makes me happy. I have always been very passionate about music. At the age of 9 I heard an album of the BeeGees played at one of my father’s friends in Amsterdam and I froze…..I loved what I heard. And no, that day I did not know I wanted to work in the music industry but my thoughts wandered back to that moment many times during my life. At a certain waking up moment I realised that time is too precious to waste. I had to focus on what I really wanted. Luckily all of you who listen(ed) to my podcasts and songs gave me the opportunity to make my dream come true. Welcome to Podcast 47: Focus. Much love, Alex

Well now really when we go back into falling in love. And say, it's crazy. Falling. You see? We don't say "rising into love". There is in it, the idea of the fall. And it goes back, as a matter of fact, to extremely fundamental things. That there is always a curious tie at some point between the fall and the creation. Taking this ghastly risk is the condition of there being life. You see, for all life is an act of faith and an act of gamble. The moment you take a step, you do so on an act of faith because you don't really know that the floor's not going to give under your feet. The moment you take a journey, what an act of faith. The moment that you enter into any kind of human undertaking in relationship, what an act of faith. See, you've given yourself up. But this is the most powerful thing that can be done: surrender. See. And love is an act of surrender to another person. Total abandonment. I give myself to you. Take me. Do anything you like with me. See. So, that's quite mad because you see, it's letting things get out of control. All sensible people keep things in control. Watch it, watch it, watch it. Security? Vigilance Watch it. Police? Watch it. Guards? Watch it. Who's going to watch the guards? So, actually, therefore, the course of wisdom, what is really sensible, is to let go, is to commit oneself, to give oneself up and that's quite mad. So we come to the strange conclusion that in madness lies sanity.

Hello beautiful people! Please welcome my new creation here! I hope you will like it, I put a lot of effort in this one,  probably edited all of the tracks that I used to create that, in my opinion, unique storyline where you feel like you are taken on a journey. I personally always love driving in my car and listen to it while I enjoy the beautiful nature around me. But that’s me. I called it Passion. Why? Because I feel like we need to spark our inner passion more. Sometimes we live our lives too habitual, days and weeks fly by and before we know it it’s already mid November. So I would like to encourage you to  sit still, look deep within and ask yourself what lights your inner fire? Whatever it is, please do more of that for the last 1.5 month of this year. Live with (more) passion, cause you will feel more alive and vibrant and people around you will notice that. And don’t we want to be around more vibrant people in our lives?
