We have emerged from a little hibernation and are kicking off the new year with a rising talent from the UK: Glotzer!

Raised in Northern Italy and desecrated in East London, Glotzer’s sets span across EBM, Italo, Hi-NRG and landing into Industrial and Techno territories.  Equally obsessed with the new and classic, his dancefloor selections never exclude neon-like basslines with a scent of leather. 

Aspiring to revive the heyday of the Blitz Club and The Backstreet, Glotzer now runs the grotesque cross-genre party and collective Ziber. In between a leather bar, a derelict club, a candy shop and a house party, Ziber has been pinpointed as the ‘hottest new queer night’ in East London.

Vor allem seit den letzten zwei Jahren haben wir regelmäßig verschiedene Gäste in unserer Sendung und nutzen die wunderbaren Möglichkeiten hier im Radio X um uns mit anderen Musiker_innen zu verbinden, sich kennenzulernen und zusammen zu grooven. 
Für uns ist es eine totale Bereicherung damit immer wieder neue Musik, neue Techniken, neue Blickrichtungen aufs DJing kennenzulernen.

In dieser Sendung kommen wir mit David aka p.limnique zusammen - ein Musiker der gar nicht aus dem DJing, sondern aus Live Performances, Produktion und Band-Kontext kommt.
Damit entdecken wir (Aaron und Jens aka animadu & black elmekx) als DJs - und wir alle drei zusammen nochmal eine völlig neue Art und Weise zu Spielen; unsere Turntables, CDJ's und Tapedeck als Instrumente mit Davids Effektgeräten, Mischern und Sythesizern zu verbinden 
- wir spielen Locked Grooves von Vinyl, legen ein Tape mit Fieldrecordings ein, spielen Percussions und Flächen vom digitalen Player, drehen an vielen verschiedenen Reglern, spielen eine Melodie auf dem Keyboard, lassen den Sound Schleifen drehen, verformen die Klanghaptik - und verlieren irgendwann selbst den Überblick über das was da gerade alles passiert. 
Aber genau das ist ein magischer und spannender Moment 
- im Jam ankommen, den Groove verfolgen, Kommunizieren ohne Worte.

Especially since the last two years, we have regularly had various guests on our show and use the wonderful opportunities here on Radio X to connect with other musicians, get to know each other and groove together.
For us it is a total enrichment to always get to know new music, new techniques and new perspectives on DJing.

In this show we meet David aka p.limnique - a musician who doesn't come from DJing at all, but from live performances, production and band contexts.
With this we (Aaron and Jens aka animadu & black elmekx) as DJs - and all three of us together - discover a completely new way to play; to connect our turntables, CDJ's and tape decks as instruments with David's effects devices, mixers and synthesizers
- we play locked grooves from vinyl, insert a tape with field recordings, play percussions and pads from the digital player, turn many different controls, play a melody on the keyboard, let the sound loop, deform the feel of the sound - and at some point we lose ourselves an overview of what is currently happening.
But that is exactly a magical and exciting moment
- arrive in the jam, follow the groove, communicate without words.

Label head Sean Kosa returns with his distinctive style of electro tracks blending elements of carbonized vapourcore with aleatoric curated future sequences. This two track EP showcases contrasting sounds as Track 1 'Race To The Bottom' punches the mindface with saturated detuned gongs alongside atonal dronescapes, while Track 2 'Time Machine' cuts a cleaner patch through reverso-funk protonic hazechords, and incandescent synthworlds.
