Hi, I am Mike and welcome to my SoundCloud page.  I am using this site as an outlet for my musical projects both present and past.

I write in a number of genres and styles and play different instruments depending on the project but mainly bass (both fretted and fretless), acoustic guitar and keyboards/synths including the usual programming.

Hopefully something for everybody on here and expanding all the time.

The Old songs set will contain songs that I have written and produced in previous bands so on here for prosperity and so they don’t just gather dust electronically ;-)

Guillem Mitchel is a Catalan singer-songwriter originally from Barcelona and currently based in Bath, UK.

In his songs, vocals and guitar blend in a beautiful musical dialogue influenced by pop, folk and classical music. His intimate style is a mixture of delicacy, passion and musical craft.

Guillem has been composing, collaborating with other artists, busking and performing in the UK during the last eight years. Dutch singer-songwriter Maaike Siegerist relocated to the UK to study music after an inspiring songwriting retreat in Dumfries and Galloway in 2013. Now based in Glasgow, she blends acoustic jazz, folk rock, and electronica, writing vivid, story-driven songs about travel, love, fascinating people, animals, and outer space. Her work has picked up multiple songwriting awards and praise from BBC Radio 6’s Tom Robinson for her “delicate vocal, poised production, gorgeous chord changes.”

She’s also the vocalist for Scottish prog rock band Long Earth and releases haunting and otherworldly music as Dora Lachaise.
