Jaap has played the last couple of years at Space Ibiza, Panama Amsterdam, Club NL Amsterdam, Club Vaag in Antwerp, and many other clubs in Moscow (Russia), Kiev (Ukraine), Mauritius, Belgium, Cairo in Egypt, England and Germany.

His tracks got released on Global Underground, Selador, Manual Music, Say What Records, Ein2, Click Records, Lost Language among many other labels.

His music got played by almost every a-list DJ around the world, including Sasha, Digweed, Dixon, Mano Le Tough, Hernan Cattaneo, Sven Vath, Maceo Plex, Alex Niggeman, Dave Seaman, Black Coffee, Solomun and the list goes on and on.

As one half of the Mariner + Domingo duo, American artist Chris Domingo has compiled an impressive resume across an eighteen-month stretch. Upon making his debut on Balkan Connection in July of 2020, the Florida resident went on a remarkable run, landing releases via 3rd Avenue, Proton Music, RYNTH, and The Purr. Perhaps his most comfortable landing spot was Madloch's long-standing Sound Avenue imprint, where Mariner + Domingo released ten originals across ten months, none more impactful than ‘Another Life' and ‘Inertia', which earned play and support from Lee Burridge and Sebastien Leger respectively.

Now embarking on his future musical endeavors in solo capacity, Domingo + returns to Sound Avenue & 3rd Avenue with more releases in 2022 & this beautiful mix for the Miami Winter Music Conference.

Hello! Welcome back to the Depth Perception Sessions. This week we welcome Spanish progressive house wizard Rober Martin to the show. 

Bio:

Having been playing music some years ago in the best discotheques, clubs and events in Gran Canaria, some clubs in Madrid and Bilbao (Spain), he left the music world for many years. 

He returned to the music scene as a producer as well, having signed his first arrangement with Irma Records and GNE music and he just signed his first contract with Sunexplosion Records.

Rober has two channels in Soundcloud and Mixcloud, his B2B space and his Superdeep channel and he is a resident on Live Radio and Easy Groove Radio.

Bringing on a fresh new vibe with his addition to the Hive Audio roster is Mirko Hensel, known and loved for being a part of the duo that is Channel X and rocking things sole under his Jiggler alias with releases on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Budenzauber and Katermukke amongst other. For his label debut he weighs in two original tracks plus an additional remix take that surely will be heard on dancefloors on a regular throughout this year for a reason.

Opening with "Serenity“ Jiggler presents a well-balanced menu of dark'ish, yet uplifting TechHouse based upon an overwhelming foundation of droning sawtooth bass paired with driving percussions and spiralling vintage modulations perfectly complementing siren'esque sounds and trancey, large scale breakdowns for a perfectly lift-off from a heaving and bubbling dancefloor.

With their remix for the title track we've got Danito & Athina on a more pounding, prime-time focused tip borderlining technoid areas whilst staying true to the originals bass heavy feel, adding spatial vibes, a mystical main motif and quite a few progressive elements to come up with an extremely powerful tool for the darkest late night hours out on the floor.

Finally "Ahead" sees Jiggler combine a masterly sculpted, precise bassdrum pump with a seductively rolling, slighty disco-infused bassline, topped by an ever moving, classy and super hypnotic Tech motif perfectly playing along the tunes warping atmospheres and thrilling out of space attitude inducing next level madness to each and everyone experiencing this one being blasted to a solid rig.

Every night some time after falling asleep we enter into this dream world that we create in our brain, a product of what we perceive every day, what we have in our conscious and subconscious mind, what our imagination and creativity come up with when it's not controlled or judged by our everyday life reasoning and logic. Not always we remember let alone be aware that we are in a dream, but we do dream every single night.

Everyday I try to ask myself if I'm dreaming during the day, to have the habit of asking this same question often enough to eventually ask myself if I'm dreaming when i'm indeed in a dream. With this awakening begins a journey with no physical laws of the world we know. And with the help of this habit I am so excited and happy that I get to explore the landscape of my subconscious, my creativity and I even believe that I find some spiritual healing.

Recording this set I was in a waking dream. An emotional. intense, deep, soft, dark and powerful one.

While listening and in your daily life don't forget to do some reality checks every once in a while. Maybe one of these days you actually will be in a dream. Enjoy the ride.

He was the creator of the largest public electronic party stage that Brazil has ever had (Virada Cultural), which at its peak had a historic 80,000 people on the dance floor and has played at the biggest clubs and festivals in the world, including ADE - Amsterdam Dance Event - in October 2016.
