I had heard Phil talk about recording Hysteria in his book Adrenalized: Life.  I don't believe he went into detail there about using the Rockman to record with direct to the board.  Given the guitar tone and sound on that record it makes perfect sense.  I even went back to a prior blog post I wrote about <a href="https://guitar-review.info/headphone-guitar-amp-review/">headphone guitar amp review</a>, and edited to include a link to this podcast and more info about the Rockman being used on Hysteria.  Great interview, I also didn't know about using a Marshall into a Randall power amp since the 80's.  Rock on Phil!
