A very special Terrafractyl set made especially for Questival, filled with dwarfs, elves, dragons, Bards, swordplay, Rings of power even a little bit of Hypnagog every now and again (this is not actually the exact questival set, but something very close to it ;) )  After many people telling me over the years that my music was great background music for gaming, this was a bit of an attempt to represent a big epic fantasy quest through music and I relished the opportunity to try and remix some things...(!)
note: some bits of some new Unreleased terrafractyl tracks are in there, they have been trimmed to not give away too much, and are also in early draft form, so expect them to be v different on release!!

Questival Wizzard set

HYPNAGOG presents his fresh remix of "Forever In An Hour" by Käse Kochen and Enrique Lazcano, which has just landed on Stone Seed. His "Forever In An Hour" Exclusive Mix for radiOzora opens with this new remix, and is followed by more of his original psychedelic techno productions. Hypnagog is a musical project of Felix Fractal, AKA Terrafractyl. After years of writing psychedelic dance music and experimenting with plenty of other sonic forms both classical and digital, Felix dived into the worlds of downtempo, breakbeat, IDM and the like. It was time to combine these styles with his own to create some kind of hybrid, beat driven, yet melodic sound. As the project progressed, Felix experimented with jazzy progressive trance, then combined these two styles into what could may be be described as Psychedelic ProgStep. Or not. As always, his music is hard to describe, difficult to put into boxes and has been surprising and exhilarating audiences around the world for many years. Stone Seed is very pleased to welcome this pioneer of psychedelic music to the label family, being the first label in seven years that Hypnagog has released on that’s not his own imprint Kinematic Records.

In this episode you can listen to a Live Set recording with original tracks and remixes by IMAGINATION PROJECT, a Ukrainian electronic psychedelic live act blending ancient musical traditions with modern technology. Each track fuses organic and digital elements into a unique sonic experience.  Founded in 2009 by Andrii Okujah (ShivaOm, Lacerta, Frog Prog / Amrita) as Art Imagination, the project was inspired by Secret Vibes at the Misterika Festival and renamed IMAGINATION Project in 2011.  The current lineup has been solid for the past five years: 🔹 Andrii Averin – producer, composer, sound designer. 🔹 Pavlo Solovyov – multi-instrumentalist specializing in ethnic music, playing handpan, jaw harp, vocals, guitars, banjo, shaman’s drum, flutes, and didgeridoo. 🔹 Josh Lipman – British guitarist adding a unique touch. Gumi is a downtempo elastic journey created by the prolific Tel Aviv producer Maor Hasbani.

In the late 90s Maor was engulfed by electronic music and started avidly collecting CDs and vinyl. Genres such as Ambient, IDM, Breakbeat, Acid, Space Rock, Jazz Fusion and so on, inspired him deeply and set him on a life mission of self-expression through music and sound.

By elegantly fusing bold basslines, tribal rhythms, psychedelic atmospheres and ethnic melodies - Gumi’s modern production and analog sound has set a blaze some of the best dancefloors on the face of the planet. 

Also responsible for the internationally renowned psytrance project ‘Skizologic’, Maor has already rocked Boom Festival, Psy-Fi Festival,  Rainbow Serpent Festival, Chill Out Planet Festival, Tribal Gathering Festival, Doof Festival, Samsara Festival and Dakini Festival to name a few, as well as extensively touring Japan and the USA.

After releasing two critically acclaimed EPs, Gumi is set to unleash a full debut album in 2021 presenting his new spectrum of sounds and sophisticated storytelling. Stay tuned!
