Hidden Empire and Channel X go back to back productionwise and set off a joint release with 6 original dancefloorready compositions. Apocalyptic vocals proclaim (This is) 'Not the End' in the analogously entitled track, triggering the release on a dynamic and fast paced tone. With a playful groove laden with descending synths, the piece buzzes along on a backdrop of alternating noise leads.
'Dinosaurs in Space' evokes a far away land through cavernous soundscapes and metallic rattles, ranking as the series’ most spacious sounding cut. Pairing mechanical subsynths with high pitched bits and blobs, 'Elephants & Ants' plays on contrasting elements as the murky melody unfolds in a steadfast fashion. After mainly focusing on their live performance.

Channel X return to the studio to dole out a matching set of three aptly crafted arrangements. An amalgamation of shadowy soundframes make up 'Before Midnight', a deep tech exploration complemented by matchingly eerie vocals.
Spirited synths and a boiling bassline are the central tenets of 'Lift off', as the melody rolls out gradually. 'Waves' brings together slices of undulating synths and wobbly sound articulations, all in an upwinding manner. With a groovy vocal sample, the track deftly morphs into a movementinducing frenzy.

André Winter has been working under various collaborative pseudonyms and diverse aliases while shaping the sound of today's club scene. Since starting to release under his own name in 2005, Winter has found regular homes on Ideal Audio and now Senso Sounds. Delivering a double header on this release, Winter proves he remains ahead of the pack. 'Cascadeur' is a techno bomb - deep and driving with plenty of attitude. The thick bass tones rumble through the track, while a trippy vocal adds another dimension for the dancers. 'Fléaux' is cut from the same cloth - a companion piece to 'Cascadeur' that uses the same sound palette to create another twist on Winter’s blueprint. We can say that love and music are fuels that ignite the productions of Binaryh, and that consequently take them farther and farther. The musical strength of this couple is reaching greater proportions with each new release, and after a first collaboration of great success with the Prisma Techno, we invite the duo to an EP only with original tracks.

Composed by three tracks, the EP starts with the title track, 'Hydra', which has already been played in major festivals by big techno names such as Tale of Us and D-Nox. The track features an acidic and hypnotic atmosphere, holding our attention continuously until Hydra's revelation: a strongly impacting, intense and energetic drop that releases our deepest feelings on the dance floor. It is impossible not to be affected with such energy!

In the sequence, 'Cerberus' takes us into the underworld through a steady stream, dense bass and outstanding timbres, leading us to a mysterious and engaging climate, until the climax of the track. An intro version of 'Cerberus' is also available, exploring the melody of the original track, as well as the apotheosis elements and unique musical characteristics of its creators. Following his successful Collider EP last year on Yoshitoshi along with his remix of Luzon’s classic “Manila Sunrise", Khainz is back and this time with a bag full of gems. We're delighted to announce the Swiss wunderkind will be releasing his third artist album (and first since 2012), Fingerprint, on Yoshitoshi in June of 2019. From this upcoming album we have extracted the Reflect EP; a teaser that features three of the album tracks, each representing Khainz’s production range and studio wizardry. 

We kick things off with Next, a perfect intro track that sets the stage for the energy to come. The track begins with slow and heavenly synthesizers, teasing listeners for a while with fluttery melodies before dropping into one of Khainz’s signature, stomping grooves. Beautiful phrases continue throughout, making Next the kind of track that makes dancers close their eyes and feel every moment. Next comes Reflect (no pun intended), a tune you may have heard in an episode of Yoshitoshi Radio, as it’s been a staple of Sharam’s sets for months. It picks up right where Next leaves off, with a dark, impending vibe that develops into a huge melodic techno banger. A mysterious vocal hook appears throughout the track which is sure to get stuck in your head, as anyone who’s heard the track thus far is aware. Finally, it wouldn’t be a Khainz release without some hard-driving techno, and Reconnect delivers on that front. The tune is impeccably produced, each drum hit and bass sound carefully sculpted in Khainz’s sonic laboratory for maximum force. This one will find a happy home in the crates of DJ’s who need a secret weapon for peak moments.

If these three tunes are a preview of what’s to come on Fingerprint, then we’re truly in for something special (and, having had the privilege of hearing it, we can assure you that’s the case). Khainz continuously sets a high bar for both the quality and quantity of his productions, churning out amazing tracks like a machine. Welcome Kaufmann on EIN2. The Berlin based DJ recently caused a stir in the Berlin club scene with her eclectic sets, combining dark Tech-House and hypnotic Minimal Techno. Now it's time for her debut release featuring two energetic and progressive tunes. Rounding it off, Hamburg based producer and live-act Lampé adds a powerful remix of the title track to Kaufmann's first EP.

In October 2019 Prisma Techno challenged us to change our mood with 'Arkaine', a small VA containing three tracks signed by Carlos Pires & Hopper, Against The Time, and Viegas, all masterpieces of the Melodic / Hypnotic Techno that carry deep mystical meanings.

Now, a year after this release, 'Arkaine' is back in a series of twenty-two small VA's that explore the many layers of Tarot's esoteric symbolism. Through the union of Techno and Tarot, it's possible to create unexpected combinations and bring up hidden stories that reveal the flow of synchronicity present in the universe. At each release, three invited artists present his works inspired by the same Major Arcana card.

For this first release of the series, Aree, Copini, and Toigo sign productions in which they develop 'The Fool' theme. The meaning of this card is the divine spark, the highest reality of the Creator before your manifestation. It symbolizes the leap of faith in the unknown with the confidence that the universe will guide and support you. The journey through the Major Arcanas begins with 'The Fool' and ends with 'The World', a cycle that repeats itself infinitely in which 'The Fool' represents that initial step in this world, or a new chapter in life, showing the beginning of a new and exciting walking of discovery.

The VA's first music was produced by Francesco Aree, who returns to Prisma Techno after his 'Six Degrees' EP, in December 2019. Born in Napoli, southern Italy, he has already received supports from names like Maceo Plex, Tale Of Us, Agoria, Fideles and Blancah.

Next, we have the track that marks Pedro Copini's debut on the label. The young prodigy who has released on several Techno labels, spent time studying music production in Amsterdam before returning to Brazil and founding the Green House Club, focused on inserting Techno culture in his region, Toledo, Paraná.

Finally, we end this 'The Fool's trilogy by the hands of Rodrigo Toigo, a name already known by those who follow Prisma Techno. The Brazilian who currently resides in Sao Paulo has already participated in several releases, including his successful EP 'Escape from Paradise', as well as countless and striking performances at the label's showcases.

Life is full of mysteries, and many of them are inexplicable.
Within each one of us, The Fool lives.

DJ/producer Gunnar Stiller has seen Berlin transform considerably over the last couple of decades, soaking in influence as well as helping shape its development as a musical force, becoming a fixture of the city’s scene along the way.

Whether playing in clubs around the world such as Berghain/Panorama Bar and Watergate or Sisyphos and Ritter Butzke in Berlin, Hive Club Zurich, Baum in Bogotá and Glow Bangkok or producing his own tracks for respected labels like Upon.You Records, Smiley Fingers, Voltage Musique and Ballroom Records, Stiller’s technique is deep in character, an outward-reaching combination of techno and house with his trademark funk-tinged basslines.

Born in the sunny seaside town of Rostock, Germany, Gunnar Stiller found a change of scenery when his family moved to Berlin in the early 80s. Moving to such a beautifully chaotic, adventurous city was a key factor in shaping his musical perspective, and with the purchase of his well loved (and now worn out) turntables in the late 90s, he took his first step into a professional artistic career as DJ and producer.

In 2003 while working as manager for Berlin-based event agency No Ufos, Gunnar found himself in the heart of a perfect playground to gain insight and develop his own style, which at the time was focused on deep house, breaks and electro. Inspired by those around him such as Steve Bug, Matthias Tanzmann and Martin Landsky, Stiller quickly began to carve out his own sound that impressed not just the dancers filling the floor but also any promoter and organizer who was paying attention.

Pushing himself toward further success, he founded the artist alliance Edelmut in 2004 along with a few of his friends, an endeavor which quickly gained them notoriety as they played in the city’s top clubs like Watergate, Bar25 and later the infamous KaterHolzig , the latter of which invited Gunnar to become a resident DJ, a position he gladly accepted. On top of this, he became a regular player at the legendary HomeSweetHome sessions. His frequent and often lengthy sets (sometimes in excess of 10 hours) allowed him to explore the boundaries between (and beyond) techno and techhouse, creating a dramatic musical landscape that sets him apart from countless other DJs.

By 2009 Stiller had formed a solid intuition for exactly what moved listeners’ bodies (and spirits) and began his foray into production. His debut release, the Heideberg EP, and its followup the Manaus Madness EP – both on Voltage Musique – landed directly within the Top 5 German club charts, and Marek Hemmann’s remix of “Manaus Madness” was voted the #10 best remix by dance music authority Groove Magazine’s 2010 readers’ poll. It was around this time that Gunnar joined Upon.You Records as part of their label and booking roster, releasing a lot more EPs and contributing to the acclaimed label compilation Upon.You Diary, which was compiled by himself in 2014. These where followed by collaborations and remix projects with artists like Solomun, AndHim, Layo & Bushwacka!, Alex Niggemann, Danny Serrano, Ray Okpara, Nikola Gala, Larry Cadge, Samuel Dan, Nakadia, Dj Le Roi or Loko and more released tracks on labels like Clap Your Hands, Smiley Fingers and Time Has Changed. 

Meanwhile, Gunnar Stiller’s DJ career picked up exponentially as he established a name for himself outside his native Berlin borders. In the last few years, he has been booked to play at top festivals such as Sonar Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Melt! Festival, Fusion and Sonnemondsterne, in clubs throughout Eastern and Western Europe as well as South America, Asia, Australia and Africa, sharing the booth with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier and Luciano.
