Hailing from South Side Ottawa representing Nigeria, this emcee has woven a path right from his early days as trueman of KINGsCOLLEGE in the digital underground scene associating himself with the likes of NORM Records, SEVERE NATURE and music-makers in the global scene. 
Due to his constant writing, he is a top-notch lyricist and ethereal composer expressing wholesome altitudes using the emotion of rhythm and poetry and the power behind rhythm and bass to weave landscapes of majestic desire and harmony. 
Possessing a BSc in Pre-Medicine; he cites Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye, Cold Heart by Sir Elton John and Thriller by Micheal Jackson as early influences on the sound he creates for The Youthies.
Born in September, Gil$ has a dream for the Black American and calls Young America home: when asked what he aspires to as a musician, his answer is “Peace Among Worlds. The $ stands for Saint, a little money won’t hurt.”
