Keno, "Mr" Johnson, was born and raised in Dallas TX. He started out with a passion for basketball and hopes of one day being in the NBA. In high school that dream was shattered when doctors told him he had an irregular heartbeat. He later joined an RnB group by the name of J.D.K (Josiah, D'Quinn, and Keno). Life situations brought the group apart and now Mr. Johnson is setting a name for himself in the Dallas RnB Music field. He also writes, sings, record, and engineers all of his music and is the Founder and C.E.O of Perfection Studios. 

The Steepin' It Real Podcast gives African-American women in Dallas a voice by bringing together four special individuals who adhere to their own values and individual experiences. The purpose is to show the world that you cannot and will not place black women in a box. Although we come together to celebrate the things that make us one, it’s important to recognize and respect differences within our community.
