When it comes to contemporary Progressive Trance, there is one particular expression frequently to be heard from DJs and party goers all around the world: Spin Twist sound. Obviously a music label of the same name succeeded in doing something only few others managed to do: Bursting the bonds of imitation, developing its very own character, and gaining international approval for doing so. Spin Twist Records has long become a leading protagonist of the genre- both for Progressive Trance lovers and the artists it represents.


The character of Spin Twist is strongly shaped by the character of its founder, Hannes Klitta. Being an avid music lover since his early childhood, he soon realizes that making music is more than merely a hobby. It is his main purpose in life. After plonking the guitar in various Metal bands he finds himself on his first Goa party in 1999- and is instantly and completely hooked by Progressive Trance. Guitar chords become synthesizer melodies, stompboxes are replaced by stomping beats. Fuelled by sheer euphoria he soon delivers first releases under the moniker Vaishiyas, laying the cornerstones of a remarkably successful career, as the international popularity of this name proves today.

Just when the music market is facing increasingly serious problems with music piracy, Hannes decides to take his passionate commitment to the Progressive Trance scene to the next level. Spin Twist Records is founded in 2005. The project proves that quality, innovation, persistence and patience pay off even in times of crisis. With every release the label gains more reputation, setting a considerable number of Progressive Trance milestones from artists such as Neelix, Day.Din, Audiomatic, Fabio & Moon, Interactive Noise, Kularis, Krama, Shiva Chandra or Vaishiyas. It keeps doing so: New label artists like Coming Soon, Durs or Unseen Dimension clearly represent the continuation of a release policy that is characterized by both solid quality and steady innovation and evolution. The international fanbase of the label is constantly growing, Spin Twist artists are frequently announced as headliners at parties and festivals all around the world.

Driven by a deep-seated desire to transmit emotion through electronic music, the German duo have been working together since long, merging Benjamin's love of hip-hop and Friso's passion for club music to produce a series of highly-regarded releases that form the foundation of their global success. Hailing from Zurich, Switzerland, Sons of Maria is a prolific dance outfit that makes essential house music in many different styles from deep to tropical to driving to progressive and future house. The Swiss project first emerged in 2015 and since then has put out eight fascinating EPs. The labels they have worked with include disco:wax, Enormous Tunes and No Deifniton and their influences take in chill wave, downtempo and lush pop as well as club facing house grooves. Tracks like “Where You Want Me At” and “Love Is” have been streamed hundreds of thousands of times online as well as soundtracking clubs around the world.

Sons of Maria have also collaborated with the likes of Angelika Vee, Nadia Ali, Alok, Nora En Pure and have gave remixed The Golden Pony amongst others. From Miami Beach to Washington DC, World Club Dome in Frankfurt Germany to Johannesburg, this man and woman twosome have taken their fresh sets to many different places and always impress. Mixing up the old with the new, they have their own unique style which has made them one of the fastest rising pairs in the global scene. BBC Radio has played plenty of their tracks and their Tracy Chapman sampling “You & I” proved one of their biggest cuts. Right now they are in a fine run of form in the studio and the DJ booth and bring the heat to any party at which they play. The future, then, is just as bright as the recent past for this expressive musical partnership.

Everything is relative, as the saying goes. Really everything? Apparently
not: The productions of Drasko Radovanovic from Belgrade, Serbia, can
best be described as absolute: Absolute powerful, absolute danceable,
absolute psychedelic and absolute progressive. Within no time his project
Relativ became a constant of quality in the global Trance formula.

Already the very first release of Relativ is picked by DJ legend John OO Fleming for his mixes, the next two tracks can be heard in the sets of Paul Oakenfold during the year 2012. Quite obviously there is a considerable amount of talent involved in this project. 
It is a talent that gives expression to Drasko's enthusiasm for the Trance scene, growing since 2000. 
Yet there is even more to the sound of Relativ than great ideas: Its outstanding production quality. 
Thanks to a professional audio engineer training the Serbian producer is capable of transcribing his colorful imagination into music of dazzling vividness.

Exploring the depths of Psytrance, just to shoot up straight into the uplifting heights of powerful Progressive Trance, Relativ takes his listeners on a surreal journey full of mind-bending turns. 
This frequently happens live in various scene hot spots around the globe. It also happens in form of Relativ's busy release schedule : After his debut album "Gates Of Perception", he is working industriously on new releases and keeping up with his creative agenda to always bring something new in his music.
He recently joined forces with Digital Om Productions from India, and he is also one of the founders of Serbia's new force in Psytrance - Transcape records.
