One of the minds behind the recently released 'Swamp Seance' VA - Papi Gonzo has established himself as a force in the psychedelic underground through his work as DJ, graphic artist and promoter. This past summer saw him throw down an incredible Friday night set at Eclipse Festival (Quebec) on the Lunar stage, and this recording is representative of that experience. Label DJ for the Shanti Planti collective, Liquid Lounge has over 25
years’ experience, travelling the world playing tunes ranging from dub
to techno, chillout to breaks. Now he mainly indulges in groovy bass
laden beats, chilled electronica and dub infused rhythms, with an
occasional uptempo soiree every once in a while!
