An emotional highlight of our project week @ The Mist in Nairobi - in summer 2024 - was the reunion with the MCs Abbas Kubaff, Gurugang and La Vosti, part of the crew with whom we recorded the phenomenal album "Welcome To The Madhouse" (Out | Here Records) in 2009 during the BLNRB project (our first self-designed music residency with the Goethe Institut Nairobi) and played great concerts in Nairobi, Berlin and Cologne till 2011. What a pleasure to see each other again 13 years later in Nairobi!  The session that followed was goosebumps and pure Hi Energy. From the very first note, there was a special energy in the room, but the energy we kept building up after a few minutes was truly unique - you can listen to the first 15 minutes of our 100% freestyle jam for yourself here.
Much love goes out to Tubbutec / Berlin for their amazing MC2oh2 mod, which transformed our Roland MC 202 into a hi-tech analogue live monster, just the week before our trip to Nairobi.
