A Three track release of party starters that have recently been ripping dancefloors apart up and down the country. Title track Bulletproof Vest comes in hot, delivering a sleek balance of searing mid bass and bouncy sub. Take your time wind back the intensity a touch and hits an effortlessly steezy vibe featuring some clean MC samples. Sit Down appropriately informs you to shut up and sit down over a steppy breakbeat to close out the EP. Production remains clean throughout and further cements Angus's position as a highly revered presence in Australian bass music.

My set from Earth Frequency 2024. There were some major technical difficulties with the booths feeding back on stage, so unfortunately there are some sloppy mixes in here where I was trying to get it fixed. However it was such a fun set despite the issues that I uploaded it anyway.

Heavily focused around big, energetic bass sounds, Gus Heavy is the alias of Melbourne producer and DJ, Angus Green. Ranging through a multitude of genres you will hear recurring elements of old school rave pads, stabs and vocals, invoking a sense of excitement, fun and nostalgia. Combining this with modern and tight production techniques creates a sound that brings a big energy to any dance floor, appealing to both young and veteran ravers alike.
