Hailing from the deep woods of the northern Sunshine Coast, Slater has been creating as well as performing music for the better part of the last two decades.
Over the years Slater has shared the stage with artists such as Subtle Mind, Daega Sound, Abstrakt Sonance, Westerley as well as many other heavy hitters in the scene, played countless gatherings around the BC coast including the legendary Diversity and Carrington Bay parties, curated bass music shows in his hometown of Powell River and released music on the up and coming Cimmerian Records label. Known for memorable late night sets and his taste for the underground, you can expect to hear leftfield sound system inspired techno, garage, dub, jungle and everything in between.

Krucial has always believed music to have no borders, but being a kid from Southern Alberta there certainly wasn’t much Dubstep or underground bass music presence in his life. Creating a community is something he cherishes deeply and is something he has always strived for. This mix however has a splash of North American bass music that he believes stands up to the legendary sounds of the UK underground.
