BR160 RADIO #05 [TCO MY SELECTA]

Gustavo Batista da Silva lives in Curitiba, the capital of Paraná. He started producing in mid-2021, influenced by his experiences on the skateboard where he began to develop an interest in audiovisuals. He ended up working as an advertising video editor, and it was in 2022 that his personal project, TCO MY SELECTA, began. 

His project is initially focused on Grime, bringing a bit of UK culture, and mixing it with all the gingado that only Brazilians have. In 2023 he was invited to be part of the Tranquilo e Calmo collective. Since his first participation in the party, TCO has continued to bring Mc's to take part in his clashes, with the intention of fostering the Mc culture at electronic music parties, a format that has been little explored in the city.

Interferência é um fenômeno ondulatório resultado da superposição de duas ou mais ondas num mesmo ponto. O padrão de interferência depende da diferença de fase entre as ondas, podendo inclusive resultar em total aniquilação (interferência totalmente destrutiva) ou na maximização da amplitude da onda resultante (interferência totalmente construtiva). No caso mais geral, a interferência será parcialmente construtiva e parcialmente destrutiva

TCO MY SELECTA - INTERFERENCE

Nosso convidado da décima quarta edição, TCO MY SELECTA, natural de São Paulo, atua com DJ e produtor pelas alamedas de Curitiba, onde faz parte do coletivo Tranquilo e Calmo. Começou seu projeto em 2022, pós pandemia, transitando entre garage, jungle, dubstep e drum and bass.
Hoje com sua pesquisa voltada para o grime, TCO traz ao público, uma sonoridade mais suja, com baterias quebradas e estraladas, junto com graves agressivos, mas que são capaz de passar a sensação de estar sendo abraçado pelo som.
Já marcou presença em festa pelo sul, Manguezal, 144 BPM, Souless, Sidechain, Tranquilo e Calmo.
Além de seus sets inaudíveis, TCO costuma agitar uma pista da forma que mais ama, em colaboração de Mc's, numa conexão de DJ, Mc's e público, elevando as energias nas alturas.
