Formed in 2013, our band consists of four members: pianist, guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Saxophonists, trumpeters, and vocalists sometimes join us in case we want to add to our sound. We mostly perform original songs each member composed, wishing to make people feel pleasant at any time, anywhere and any scene in everyday life by our music. We never stop creating; we compose, perform, and record music every day! We hope our music will reach as many audiences as possible.

Weird Genius did exactly that with the release of "Lathi" featuring Sara Fajira which amassed over a billions views on TikTok, #1 on Spotify Indonesia, #2 on Spotify Global Viral Top 50, #1 on Spotify Viral Top 50 Indonesia, #1 in iTunes Indonesia, #1 in Deezer Indonesia, #1 in JOOX Indonesia, #1 on Resso Global Top 30, #1 on Resso Indonesia Top 20, #1 on TikTok Global 20, on #1 Shazam Chart Indonesia.

Spotify revealed that "Lathi" has broken a new record as a local song that has topped the #1 longest chart for 6 consecutive weeks on Spotify Indonesia's Top 50 Chart. Weird Genius got nominated for 5 categories at 23rd AMI Awards (Indonesian Music Awards) including Song of the year, Best Production, Best Artist Collaboration, Best Team Collaboration and Best Dance Song of the year.

Weird Genius signed with one of biggest American EDM record labels Astralwerks for international and are the first Asian group who got signed to the label. With this, several international collaborations and projects are now in the works as well as collaborations with labels such as Monstercat.
