Colombia's forthcoming duo Ten Systems debut their first Radikon full length EP for a late autumn celebration of the everlasting sunshine state. Here comes ‚California'! Noisy straightforward beats plant the seeds for the emerging warmth of Angus Powell's voice, which slowly surfaces through masterfully cut vocal snippets. Atmospheric melancholia sets the tone for this release's centerpiece.

Remix duty is taken personal this time. None other than labelheads Jonas Saalbach and Guzy offer their collaborative reconstruction of ‚California', spiced up with some grains of BPM, pumping synths lines and hypnotic melody patterns, culminating into a proper main stage peak time drop.

The song combines the sounds of Electronic music. It has an upbeat feel with catchy melodies that are easy to dance along to. The lyrics convey messages about love and relationships in a relatable way that resonated deeply with me personally. Overall it is an energetic yet nostalgic sound that left me feeling inspired by all these different genres combined together.
