Sometimes you just want to play everything that has shaped you without a strict concept, without genre boundaries, purely out of love and fun. That’s exactly how this set came to life. ✨

Five hours that show a different side of me: less strictly hypnotic, more housy, deep, oldschool, dreamy. A journey that floats somewhere between dancefloor energy and living-room vibe full of tracks that have been with me for a long time, and others that just slipped in naturally while playing.

I wanted to build a bridge between my deep, hypnotic sound and those housy, disco inspired grooves that always get me. A mix of immersive flow and uplifting, funky moments that move both mind and body.
And while so much of the scene is running towards faster and faster BPMs, I’ve been enjoying slowing things down a little. This whole trip sits around 128–130 BPM steady, groovy, giving space for the music to breathe and for the vibe to unfold.

For me, it was pure joy to just press record and let it flow, without overthinking where it “should” go. 

The result: a 5-hour ride through my musical love, playful and honest.
Take your time, dive in, let it carry you and enjoy it as much as I did recording it. ❤️

Marta Aurelia skillfully combines minimalism with boldness and never fails to add an element of emotional depth to her carefully curated sets. Musically active since the age of five, she channels a lifelong relationship with sound into every moment she plays. The Hamburg local thrives on building bridges and blends contrasts to craft a unique language of connection. In and beyond the scene, she uses her platform to advocate for feminist perspectives and gender equality, striving to open up space for more diverse voices.

INTERVIEW
What do you think is the most important message that techno conveys?

Leave your ego at home! Techno and raves can create free spaces and offer new perspectives. It helps if we don’t take ourselves too seriously in the process—no matter which side of the booth we’re on.

What was your favorite dancefloor experience and why?

It’s more of a feeling that can return again and again in the right contexts (both for me as a DJ and as someone dancing): when I notice how I’m arriving in the music together with the people around me, and my sense of time fades away. There’s so much work and heart that goes into raves, clubs, festivals. When everything runs so smoothly that a form of collective lightness can arise on the floor, that’s something truly magical.

Is there a dream gig or a location where you absolutely want to play one day?

I absolutely want to play a really massive festival stage at some point! I’ll keep the details to myself for now. Right now, I’m also dreaming above all that our subcultural spaces won’t continue to diminish—and that I’ll be able to return for a long time to the floors I’ve already had the chance to play.

Hey peeps! Just in time for New Year's Eve – a new set from me! The live recording of my opening set from Aura at Artheater with Deetron pres. Soulmate & Glaskin.

I can't remember ever releasing a live recording before, but I had so much fun with this set and felt every single track so deeply that I think it's really nice to share it with you! Hey, I hope you enjoy it too, and if you have a favourite track, let me know. 

We can certainly debate whether this was the best set for an opening or what an opening in 2025/26 should look like in general – but in this case, it worked great :)

Resident DJ at Artheater Club, Cologne

Gutkind's sound and sets are techno to the core: diverse, moving, timeless. It's no coincidence that he's been a fixture at Cologne's Artheater for years. But instead of becoming dull and drowning in the midst of changing scene trends and hypes, the numerous gigs as a resident DJ have made him more attentive and sensitive to the mood and the course of a party night. For the right energy and fun on the dance floor, the context is most important to him. Facts like club, party, headliner, set length – whether opening, closing or somewhere in between – significantly influence the composition of his sets. Which can be fast, dark and hypnotic, as well as slower, groovier, with more Detroit influences or breaky vibes. All for a night that should never end.
