Like a forgotten computer server still carrying half the 'Net on its back, Firedrill now lives humbly in a cave: but this cave is stuffed with tasty tasty 12-bit chip riffs, naughtily-aliased electro beats, and smooth FM squeak. "Vurado and Friends Vol. I: Tokyo-Toronto 2015-2017" is a collection of duets recorded with visitors to the Gutter Lingo Studio over the past two years. These encounters were often rushed and always incomplete: jam sessions were mostly limited to half a day, sometimes only two hours. But they had to take place, in spite of tight schedules. When two skweee cats from halfway across the Soundcloud Superhighway finally meet in person, the number-one priority is always and inevitably to get grooving. 

From Gutter Lingo's former home of Tokyo to its present base in Toronto, here are eleven manifestations of friendship made in music.
