uya began his music career as a teenager rapping in Kenyan nightclubs, driven by his passion for rap music and by his basic need to survive. When he was 16 years old he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and his world was turned right side up eternally. He recognized that his passion for this style of music actually came from God and was determined to glorify Christ through his gift and to use it to turn hearts back to Him. Guya currently lives in Seattle, WA and his passion for winning the lost and exhorting the Church by preaching the Gospel through Rhythm And Poetry is greater than ever before.
