There's something incredibly compelling about the creation of sound, a language that can express the emotions that defy articulation.

Two years ago, I introduced a new companion to my life - a digital piano. It lay dormant in a corner of my room for half a year. It stood there, both as a symbol of my apprehension and an invitation to a new journey.

In the beginning, my own fears served as my harshest critic. I berated myself for not mastering this intricate instrument instantly. But in retrospect, I wonder, how could I have expected immediate proficiency without having ever played?

Even then, I found solace in the small victories. Simply acknowledging the piano's presence felt like a triumph. And the act of spending a mere minute pressing the keys at random? That too felt like a significant stride forward.

Indeed, everything is a process.

Two years may seem like a long stretch. However, the toughest part of my journey was perhaps dismantling the walls of my own self-imposed limitations and the judgmental attitude I held against myself.

I've adopted the role of a self-taught explorer, navigating the uncharted territories of music with no prior knowledge or formal training. Each day serves as a new lesson about myself and the unique processes through which I can find and produce sounds that resonate with my inner state.

Incrementally, I've been nurturing the courage to play what my heart echoes, though I've found my repertoire often lacks cheerful melodies. It's as if my heart has been steeped in sadness for an extended period.

What I am able to bring forth are sounds that words fail to encapsulate. I have come to know them as my "Raw Emotions".

Sometimes, the sounds I create stir emotions within me, setting in motion a reciprocal cycle of creation between myself and the sounds I produce.

These sounds might seem simplistic, occasionally falling out of tune or rhythm, but they are truthful representations of my emotions.

I'm excited to share this journey with you. May it inspire you to explore your own raw emotions and express them in your unique way.
