Gwen Sampé is a jazz singer and composer with an audacious, fearless style. Known for taking risks, Gwen breaths new life into the standards jazz repertoire.  She also writes her own songs. Equally comfortable in a duo situation, such as voice/bass, voice/piano, or more challenging, voice/percussion, as well as quartets and trios, Gwen has also done solo work, "My voice and Me," a self-produced show exploring the the voice in jazz, from the "fields" to "out." Her first CD "Water Gazing," was released in 2002, and July 2014 will see the release of her album "Conversations," with pianist Jobic Le Masson.
