Gatecrasher Trance Classics Vinyl Only Set - Limitless Trance Gathering

Back in 2001, when the dance project that I used to be a part of (Public Domain) was flying high all around the world, I was asked down to London to the Nukleuz Recordings HQ by Ed Real and his team to mix a double compilation album CD called 'Hard Dance Anthems'. 
The project was a collaboration with Warners Music, so that I knew right away that it was going to be a massive compilation and could potentially be huge for my profile as a DJ. 
I was given a lot of control over what tracks that I wanted to license for the album, which was really great, but there were also a few that had to be included as part of the agreement between Nukleuz and Warners that I wasn't so keen on...but fortunately there were only a few of those lol.
I've uploaded both discs to my Soundcloud as 2x separate tracks, so that you can check them out...only 22 years after it was released!

Waves of Light

We think of balance as stillness. But it's not.

Balance is tension. It's the moment you're holding two opposing forces so perfectly that neither one wins.

"Balance" is the sound of walking that razor's edge.

It opens with a classical melody—precise, delicate, almost fragile. It represents the order, the calm, the grace. It feels weightless.

But you can't have balance without weight.

The beat enters as the counterforce. It's heavy. It's aggressive. And when the drop hits, it’s the collision of these two worlds. The massive, distorted kick of hardstyle slamming against the elegance of the strings.

It shouldn't work. One should destroy the other. But they don't. They hold each other up.
