The first of my two sets this year at Rainbow Serpent Festival was on the CHILL STAGE, a mesmerizing sanctuary where you can relax, or get down for a calming stomp. Beautiful people everywhere coming together to connect, allowing me to play some of my most prized music.

I was so happy to be able to provide the soundscape to everyone’s journey, with some of my favourite artists and bush sounds.

The second of my two sets this year at Rainbow Serpent Festival was on the SUNSET STAGE, a place that’s known for getting a little crazy and insane on a Monday morning. Surrounded by a full dancefloor and amazing artists, this bus was certainly rock’n! 

So much applause afterwards and many saying it was the set of the festival for them, I was simply spellbound with shock. Words can’t explain that feeling.

I couldn’t be happier playing on the famous bus stage. Andy & crew, you know how to get a rig pumping and create a wild atmosphere. Wow! Thank you.

Truly another special time that I will never forget. Thank you Rainbow Serpent and Big:Red:Bus :) Till next time, much love and respect xo

Over the past few months I've been really feeling some bass heavy, 4/4 type tunes that have been released so I've put together a mix of some that are wetting my whistle! It's not all bassline bangers, some are a little deeper but all (in my opinion) have great basslines. I also included a couple of cheeky little classics from the vault towards the end of the mix. Welcome To Spored Funky Prog

Hey Legends! 
I have been so eager to get this edition of The Essence of Techno out there for you all! Its been awhile between podcasts but number 10 is finally here. 
I’ve had an epic 2018 and I thank you all so much for the continued support and for tuning in to my TEOT Podcasts this year! 
We have just hit summer in Australia and over the next few months I'll be playing at numerous SPICYMUSIC events, Two/4 Festival 2019, Why‽ Symposium 2019 and more Tasmanian events & festivals TBA soon. Plus I’ll be heading back to Victoria to play at one of my favourite Australian festivals, which will be announced in the coming weeks!

GŸPS aka Gypsy, is a techno DJ from lutruwita (Tasmania) who has made her mark on the underground scene since 2013.
She is the co-founder & resident of Tasmania's leading techno movement SPICYMUSIC, which has been running parties & raves since 2015, featuring international & local DJs and Producers. 
In early 2020 she co-founded CONCEPT, which is a unique inner city warehouse space in the city of Launceston for music, art & subculture.

She performs regularly at club nights & festivals throughout Tasmania along with being invited to perform in other Australian cities for techno nights & festivals. She has regular guest appearances on underground European & Australian radio shows & she created The Essence of Techno Podcast, which has huge support from listeners throughout Europe, Aus and Asia.

Her style has been labeled groovy & energetic, psychedelic & tribal. Her sets are best known to have a push and pull between hard & fast, sexy & trippy driven sounds that feature tripped out atmospheric elements interwoven with groovy rolling bass lines and often mixed with a touch of 90s rave, ghetto vocals and tribal influences.

She has played main support alongside some of the major techno artists, such as Setaoc Mass, Peter Van Hoesen, SPFDJ, Henning Baer, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Anetha,  DINA, Perc, Dasha Rush, Bart Skils, Farrago, Boris Of Berlin, Wehbba, Luigi Madonna, Enrico Sangiuliano, Secret Cinema, Arjun Vagale, Pig&Dan, & Mark Reeve just to name a few.
