Doubtful Sounds EP Release - Sunday 19th March 2017

Treestump Almighty Bio:-

Treestump Almighty formed in late 2013, when Leo brought together 3 musician friends, John, Paul and Richard to form a band. 

In December 2014 the band first headed into the recording studio to produce a demo of their songs; Great White Telephone and Bucket of Sand, this recording was later released as a double A-sided single.

From 2014 through to mid-2016, the Fremantle based four piece played regular shows around Perth and Fremantle, working on the stagecraft and refining their sound. 

In mid-2016 the band took time off gigging to record 5 songs for their debut EP. The EP was recorded by Rob Grant of Poons Head Studios in East Fremantle. 

This recording became known as the Doubtful Sounds EP, a reference to the song Doubtful Sound from the EP, this song tells the story of Richard's adventure to Doubtful Sound in New Zealand to visit friends traveling the world on a yacht.

Singer songwriter who can't sing so well. I write and play all the music and provide some vocals here and there. Been playing for over 35 years. Studied string bass briefly at University of Maine at Orono while playing bass guitar in the Brewer Academy Jazz Band. Studied guitar in Manhattan with Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister) and Pat Thrall (Pat Travers Band, Asia, Meatloaf...). Please stop by often. I will be uploading new songs as they are completed.
