La #Vaporwave est un genre musical et mouvement artistique ayant émergé sur internet dans les années 2010.

Inspirée de la culture rétro, de la technologie, de la publicité, avec une nostalgie certaine pour les années 1980/90 et dénonçant la société de consommation.

La #Vaporwave est le mélange parfait de sonorité japonaise, rétro et modernes.
Ce genre est composé de sample (l’environnement sonore des années 1980/90) mais aussi de morceaux connus à peine reconnaissable, car ils sont loopés, réverbérés, pitchés et mixés à d’autres genres divers et variés ( #disco, #pop, #funk, #rnb, #jfunk, #citypop, #aesthetic)

It's summer, and you're spending some weeks in Kyoto. You've rentet a place that's a bit outside of the main streets, there are a few temples nearby, small shrines on some spots, a playground and lots of plants on the streets and in front of houses. The weather has been so humid the last days, so it's been much better to stay up during the night when it's not burning hot. The house in on a hill, and you can see other hills covered in forest on the one end, and down to the busy city on the other. Stars are even visible from here. Let's crack open a cold can of Asahi beer, sit down in a chair on the roof and wait for sunrise together.
