Curtis Gabriel - What Do I Do

Dreamland is the new feel-good anthem from the undisputed heavyweights of breaks, the Plump DJs. Ravers with a keen ear will recognize the vocal sample from the early days of drum n bass, although this 2022 rework delivers an entirely new spin.   

Over the past few months we have witnessed epic scenes of the Plump DJs playing sold-out shows including Stanton Sessions and their BreakOut tour in Australia - and the unanimous top tune of these nights? Dreamland.

"This is hands down the stand-out track in my set right now" says Krafty Kuts who quickly signed Dreamland to his Against The Grain label.

The release features a jaw-dropping suite of remixes including Pirate Jams who deliver a euphoric hardcore crowd-pleaser for the ravers, while heavyweight drum n bass producer Erb N Dub, whose recent tracks hit number 2 and 8 in the Beatport DNB chart, delivers a rework so dirty it should probably come with a health warning. Newcomers Dirty Supercar flip the script with a summery disco-house rework ensuring this release has something for everyone.

Scour Records HQ are thrilled to welcome a quartet of top-notch Australian music producers to the gang - in the form of Mood Swing & Chevy Bass, Swim Inc, and none other than legendary Glitch Hop supremo Cheshire! 

Mood Swing & Chevy Bass X Cheshire have served up ‘No One Above’, a deep and brooding glitch-hop number that’s riddled with original instrumentation, growling basslines, stuttered vocals, and a sound-scape that’s so sci-fi that when it came to remix duties there was only one name we could think of. Unfortunately, they weren’t available, so we gave our pal WBBL a call - who flipped it into an infectious bass house belter - perfecto!

Wrapping up the release, Swim Inc joins the Mood Swing & Chevy Bass collab party with ‘Higher’. A bass-heavy glitch funk groover, built around a sample that’s just on the tip of your tongue but also never quite there, making it instantly recognisable and completely original at the same time - a rare combo indeed.

Mood Swing & Chevy Bass X Cheshire - No One Above (WBBL Remix)

Breakin’ Bossa is the latest from the hit makers Hankook & Perfect Kombo. These fellas have really stepped it up with this breaks banger. This has a greasy bassline, accompanied by funky riffs and excellent vocals that really accentuate the funk in this tune. This one is bound to have any dancefloor rockin.

Nipponeer Records being based in Tokyo, Japan; was founded by Hiroshi Fukuma in 2003. This is the 130th release of the label, while the first EP came out in 2009 - aiming to reach a place of solely ageless and quality music, where time has got no dimension.

Hoffman & Daytripper - Professional Tracker

Hoffman is no stranger to the Revision roster. Having played the very first event way back in 2011 he’s since gone on to play sets at many other demo parties over Europe.
While his roots are cemented in breakbeat music he has a tendency to wander off the broken path, looking for gems hidden within the corners of other genres. Pouring it all into a melting pot of bass heavy tunes mixed with energetic stage presence, the result is an annihilation of the dance floor.
They may say the real party is outside, but it ain’t!
