4 channel 8 bit Amiga ProTracker 2.3B module.  Written for the tracker comp at Sundown 2013 (Came 1st, w00p!).  Samples "Barbarella" which may just be the greatest film ever made, but then again maybe not (it might just be my teenage years talking ;)

This is basically Happy Hardcore, but with a D&B beat.  Is there a name for that?

This was done in a very short time but it was all the more fun and challenge to work on this - the brief was "slightly retro, uplifting, slowish", so I tried to make it sound like a bit of an 80s sci-fi movie endscroller track. Despite some serious micromanagement to fit the future visuals, I'm very very happy with the end result.

Placed 8th out of 16, same as last year.  Clearly I am the mid-table team of demoscene musicians.  :)

(Actually, now that it's just you and I dear listener, I don't think the sound system at the party did me any favours, there's too many places where this track distorts with only the slightest compression.  I'll remember to leave some headroom next year ;) )
