Lithium is a monovalent cation which belongs to the group of alkali metals together with sodium, potassium and other elements with which it shares some of its properties. Tinlicker strike again on Sotto Voce, their second release on Feed Me’s imprint takes things up a notch for 2015. Out exclusively on Beatport on the 14th April, and other platforms worldwide on the 28th April. The kaleidoscopic synth tinged 5-track EP “Into The Open”, is an epic journey from start to finish. The EP sees collaborations with Devries on the title track, and amazing euphoric, awe-inspiring vocals from Laura Louise on “Gazoline”.

This EP combines the hugely in-vogue modulating 80s synth-techno with the atmospherics expected from a Brian Eno project, backed by the thumping, crisp percussion, spanning across, spacious loose-limbed headphone pieces and tough, floor-focused club tracks. This innovative duo have sculpted a unique sound of their own, and made a home with the Sotto Voce family.

Headsick is a fictional character in the Electronica Universe.

Daniel Mendoza was born in Queens, NY. He had an unprecedented viral infection that caused competitive inhibition of certain segments in his DNA in the process of replication. He consulted Dr. Richard Johnson, who prescribed an experimental, untested drug. The drug reacted with Mendoza's DNA, causing him to have a freakish appearance and the inability to sleep. Mendoza discovered that he no longer needed sleep, and that he now had a high destructive psionic ability, which he called "Rapture". He named himself Headsick, after the god of lunacy. Crazed, Headsick sought to punish Dr. Johnson, which brought him to the attention of The Matador, who fought and defeated Headsick.

Under heavy sedation, Headsick was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. Doctors there treated him by artificially inducing a daily sleep period giving him normal dreams. This worked at first, but after awhile violent mutagenic changes in Headsick's brain occurred. Headsick established a mental link with Johnson which allowed him to project nightmares through Johnson's mind into the minds of others. Headsick escaped from the hospital to gain revenge on Johnson and The Matador, but Johnson sacrificed his own life to cancel out Headsick's powers. Headsick was returned to Elmhurst and placed under heavy guard.
