Haamid Jafri was born and raised in Mumbai, India.

Syed Haamid Jafri is a Shia Nauha reciter and the Son of Ustad Naim Jafri, He is well known in the Shia community, By the grace of God he Recite, Compose, & Write Nauhe/Soz/Salaam/Marsiya/Manqabat, he almost recite in all Sangat(Anjuman) of Mumbai. He started reciting since childhood and his first Official Album released in 2011 “Pyaaso Ka Janaza”.

With the help of his Father he also manage a Voice Training Academy known as “ZAHRA ACADEMY” which helps New Reciters for Enhancing their Gifted Voice.
