In a sign of appreciation for the amazing support and to start 2018 in style, I've decided to give away a free track. This track was made roughly two years ago and it was in a way a turning point for me since it helped me realise that doing music that I like, is more important than following trends and even others. It was the first step to a place where I'm at now; a place where I can finally say that I'm somehow satisfied with the music I produce and play. So here it is - "Random Trip".

Coming up on Habits Records, is a 3 track EP comprising of two euphonious mellow grooving originals from Brazilian DJ Alex Dittrich and a stern remix from the highly sought after Spaniard Juliche Hernandez.

'Just A Feeling' combines a house and jazz melody, whilst maintaining a feel good vibe and groove. This get-go track is perfect for easing into the party, as the mellifluous voice states 'house is more than just a feeling'!

Second in the EP is 'Everything', which offers a brisker, hard driving baseline. Its rapid beats and indistinct female vocals will ensure the crowd is kept rocking! No doubt this will make you lose yourself in the tightly written groove and ripe-tidy synth work.

Finally, the last remix from Juliche, offers a refreshing spin on what was already a solid original. Some would say it's a hard track to remix, given the original pulsating rhythmic beats created. However, Juliche surprises us with his next level flip to the EP, offering a harder grooving underground dance floor hitter.
What's more, he maintains the same vibes offered in the original - one of our personal favourites.

Following his debut on Archie Hamilton’s Moss Co., UK producer Charlie Banks now joins MoscowRecords bringing a pair of intricate house cuts with the label boss on remix duties.

Hamilton has been playing the Gottwood Festival DJ’s music in his sets for years now and following his ‘One Morning In Staines EP’ on Moss Co. Charlie Banks has seen further support from artists like Seb Zito, Diego Krause, and Traumer. Appearing on Moscow Records, the breakthrough London-based producer returns for his second statement release of 2019.

Opening his next release, ‘Flight Mode’ instantly deploys a sultry bassline as trickling subtleties operate alongside crunchy snares, making way for a stuttering warped melody and crystal synths – the result is both deep and energetic. On the flip, thudding kicks and echoing effects lay the foundations for ‘Project X’ as a meandering sequence joins a thunderous low-end. Tying it all together, Archie Hamilton’s remix of ‘Flight Mode’ boasts a complex rhythm from the off as various different percussive elements interlink to create a mesmerising dancefloor roller complete with acid licks.

After the initial release by Lee Onel on the digital sister-label, newborn Purple Box is ready to raise the standard with a 4-tracker vinyl EP by Legit Trip, backed with remixes from Juliche Hernandez and Ilya Schulz. The entitled "Dreams" EP comes from one of the fastest rising talents in the Russian scene who literally took the Beatport charts by storm last year with his unmistakable deep-tech approach, releasing on labels such as DPE, Aprapta and Bla Bla to name a few. He now debuts on Purple Box, which will be responsible for constantly sharing fresh groovy vibes from the south of Italy, as the label is the result of the union of famous Pressology Distribution and Effetto Disclosure.

On the flip, Spanish groover Juliche Hernandez (UNCANNY) signs the first remix and his strong temper emerges from the very start, as he delivers a classy and heavy minimal number. The stomping kick drum still leaves some room to the other elements, with the woody percussions in full-focus above a dynamic texture. On this version, the vocal is pitched down and brings even more drama to the floor, even if the biggest merit goes to the thunderous bassline, implacable. Airy stab arises and starts wandering following the delay on top of the groove, creating a flawless interplay. When the piece gets dry again, once again we get swept up by the huge rolling bass and the powerful drums.
