Figured since I don't use my SoundCloud all that seriously ( at least not yet ) I'm just gonna dump random pieces of music I make! XD This one's an experiment on string arrangements, arranging Finnish power metal band Stratovarius' Stratosphere from their 1996 album Episode.

P.S. I didn't pay much attention to dynamics XDD

Valorous Warrior (Tutorial)

It's been such a long time since I made anything heavy due to a lot of my project files being lost to a hard drive crash which I detailed here:

College then happened, and work will too, but while I'm in the middle waiting for graduation to come I figured it would be the perfect time to work on things from the ground up. These past few days have been really frustrating musically, since I always feel so bad if I can't achieve high expectations I set for myself in terms of mixing. Eventually I realized how much it was holding me back, so I went back to my gut feel and felt free to compose again. While it may not be a perfect mix, I'm happy enough to have composed something new again.

Such a long intro for a minute track but hey, hope you enjoy it nonetheless. A little sign of things to come.

I only used two patterns for this song. And four chords. And the exact same drumline all throughout. And root notes for bass.
