Largely regarded as one of the most distinctive, powerful acts to emerge in bass music, their production techniques are referenced and praised across the entire electronic music scene. Their extensive body of work also includes the game Devil May Cry and the Foreign Beggars collaboration I Am Legion.

Sadly Robert passed away September 30th 2017.
He will be missed dearly.

Starting his career in 2010, D&B producer Andrey Eastcolors, from St.Petersburg Russia, has been consistently busting out a series of increasingly successful releases on labels like Critical, RAM and Hospital Records. His track Toys, released on one of the most respected British label, RAM Records, smashed it to the top of the Beatport chart and even got played out in the legendary Nightlife compilation by the one and only Andy C himself! In 2015, after a long and hard slog, Andrey released his debut solo album Lighthouse, becoming an instant hit with listeners. Driving forwards with music production in 2017 Eastcolors dropped a massive new tune Keys exclusively released on Swiss label Demand Records. In a flash, this track stole the hearts of thousands of D&B fans, with plays skyrocketing on Spotify and Apple music. Not only there, it also got added straight away to the UKF playlist. The pure sickness of Andrey’s work gets proven time and time again through invitations to make guest mixes for BBC Radio 1. Touring through Europe, this true artist always shows off the best of D&B sound in his DJ sets, mixing rolling dance-floor beats with soulful and deep vibes. Eastcolors is like a city who never sleeps. He's currently assigned to a plethora of new music and projects, and is looking forward to the future, continuing to please his fans with his magic. Combining a sophisticated groove with an arcane core and manipulating sounds to the highest quality, Octane & DLR truly shook the drum & bass community in 2011, culminating appearances at Fabric in London, Star Warz in Belgium, to Outlook Festival in Croatia and a remarkable Australia / New Zealand tour. With an innate ability to apply an effortless funk to a purely technical undercurrent, 2011 saw them produce some of the dancefloor’s most unique creations, such as the callously percussive ‘Mainframe’ and the casually sinister ‘Red Mist’. The pair have consistently advanced their distinctive sound, to the escalating lure of listeners, labels and promoters worldwide. 

Their reputation for superb technical production led to the highly successful Drum & Bass Rollers sample pack for Loopmasters. Providing an array of bass textures and various drum hits and synths, this has enabled aspiring producers across the globe the chance to manipulate and adapt the much sought after Octane & DLR sound to their own specifications. In the coming months, they will also release 64 Patches for Native Instruments new FM8 project, offering an essential production tool to further inspire up and coming talent.

2012 is shaping up to be an astounding year for the duo and their demand has been met by endorsement from respected companies such as Magma DJ Bags, Serato, Tool Room Publishing and THTC. Forthcoming release material includes remix work for Horizons, including Amoss’ ceaseless roller ‘Footloose’, Gerra & Stone’s irrefutable ‘Dronehead’ for Alignment, alongside further releases on Ram Records and Symmetry. This is all preceded by their highly anticipated debut album, appearing on Dispatch Recordings in Early Summer. The project is set to be a true masterpiece of natural soundscapes, dark and twisting bass-forms and cinematic interludes, featuring collaborations with Break, Cern and EBK, With Outlook Festival confirmed and Album Tour information now being drafted up, Octane & DLR are set to take the scene by storm in 2012.

Hackage is Filippo Conti dj and producer from Italy; born in Rome in 1984, he starts making music at the age of 18, pushed by this passion he attended a class at the SAE in Rotterdam and in 2008 he founds along with some friends the crew concept called Noxius which, in just a year, holds down releases on international labels such as  M-Atome (FR), Flight Recs (US), Abducted (US), Modulate (IT) and Ammunition (US). In 2009 Noxius win the prestigious "Elettrowave Challenge" as best drum and bass dj/producer. In 2010 he runs an indie record label "Black Seeds Recordings" and, along with his partner, hosts a show on dnbradio.com. His djset has been showcased at the best club nights all over Italy as well as Florida (US), Portugal, Holland and Luxembourg. Last fall he started his new solo project, Hackage, and he signed with two important labels Close 2 Death (UK) and Trust in Music (DE). As a producer, he has worked with some valuable upcoming artists of the dnb scene such as Aeph, Neonlight, Triage, Dabs and AnB and his tunes have been supported by djs of the caliber of Opitv, Chook, Zero Method, Kenei and Fourward.
