Deniz Kabu & Wolfson both have very different musical beginnings, with Kabu coming through the heavy metal world and Wolfson becoming a turntablist at the age of 13 blending hip-hop and breakbeats. Despite the pairs musical backgrounds being worlds apart they fuse their influences together for the third time. 'Let it Go' kicks things off with rolling, tribal percussion, smooth vocals, and progressive melodies harmoniously merged together to create a euphoric affair. "Cyprus based duo first appeared on the Greek imprint in July of 2017 with a contribution to the label's ‘Technical Progress, Vol. 7' collection. May of 2018 saw the much loved duo return with a well received remix of SEQU3L's ‘Jelly Bells'. 2019 has seen Paul and Don continue to rise with steady support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, along with key releases on Clubsonica Records, Dopamine Music and Soundteller Records. Now embarking on the most anticipated project of their career, Paul and Don return to Movement Recordings for their debut EP alongside remixes from Supacooks and Reig (FR).

Beginning with ‘Entrance of the Underworld' moves into darker territory with a boundless groove, charged rhythms and clusters of devilish percussion. Aptly titled, it's both foreboding and mysterious with a flair for the dramatic, particularly across an expansive and hugely impactful break. Rough, rugged and full of amazing sonic artefacts, it's a centrepiece to unite your crowd before taking them to euphoria's top floor.

At the companion piece ‘Hephaestus', Paul & Don explore the peak time progressive sensibility that they've become so loved for. It's tough, rolling groove is perfectly carved, adorned with fiery percussion and timely chord changes. Smooth and emotive across the first act, eventually leading to a buzzing break where a bed of sizzling electronics elevates tension and mood, before a classy peak sparks an epic finale. 

The lone interpretation on 'Entrance of the Underworld comes by Supacooks. 

The release concludes The lone interpretation of ‘Hephaestus' is provided by Reig who makes his label debut. Residing in Corsica, the French artist has been crafting a unique brand of melodic techno since first appearing in 2013. Releases on Aftertech Records, Steyoyoke and Traüm Schallplatten highlight his discography, while he remains a prominent figure in his country's nightlife, having performed alongside Agoria, N'to, Worakls, Etienne de Crécy and Simian Mobile Disco. 'R.I.P Bestia returns to Natura Sonoris with another euphoric EP. Titled ´African Burial Ceremony´, it consists of two beautifully nuanced originals and of an evocative Henry Saiz remix.

'Dreamlike melody meets all-enveloping atmospheres' is how you could briefly describe the title track. It has a hypnotic tribal groove, which pulsates with subtleties and instruments, setting the tone for the chanting voices you hear throughout. It's soft, it's warm, it's inviting but also musically rich, club driven and overall utterly satisfying. 

A second original of the EP, ´Own Empire´, is a more uptempo and faster-paced piece curated by powerful beats, spell-binding synthlines, enchanting vocals and acidic basslines turning the track into a real trip that will sink you into a fantasy state. Elegant and swirling, it will make you move whether you wanted or not. 

Last but not least is Henry Saiz's take on ´African Burial Ceremony´ who crafted an organic, driving track lead by the original tribal layers, magical chimes, elegant drum fills and lush distorted vocals that guide us to the deepest corners of our minds. Saiz's use of sonics has always been meticulous and sophisticated, always unfolding his signature touch, and this remix is no exception. He takes the natural tribal rhythm and enriches it with his own unique magic creating a truly psychedelic adventure and taking us deep into a mystical valley of cosmic delights and eclipsed totalities.

Swiss-Italian producer and composer Parsifal (who was formerly one half of LVTECE) returns for his first solo release on Connected.

Parsifal's music is strongly influenced by a mixture of organic moods and textures, Japan's traditional Taiko percussion and both vintage and modern synthesisers all surrounded by a cinematic ambience. With this fine new three track EP Parsifal merges genres, ethnic rhythms and jazz chords to create a unique energy that is perfectly balanced for the dance floor and the home listener alike. Solomun, Tale of Us and Âme have spun Parsifal tracks and these new ones will likely get the same attention. Fantastic first track ’Signs Of Light’ revolves between ethnic guitars and simple and powerful lead melodies surrounded by a deep bass and drum backbone. ’Ipnosi’ takes its name from the Italian for ‘Hypnosis’ and invites the listener into a particular ambience where a solid groove supports a never ending arpeggio. It absorbingly leads to an impressive drop after a dreamy break that will wake and shake the club in subtle ways. Lastly, the excellent ’In Volo’ is a fusion of different styles with strong rhythm and bass supporting the catchy melodies until the break where piano chords prepare the listener for an epic synth solo. It's another majestic, journeying track that moves you in many ways.

The title track 'Voices in the Fog’ is a driving emotive melodic house tune, while the 2nd track ‘Magnolia’ has deep roots in the early 2000’s Progressive era.   

As an icing on the cake, we asked Lexer (Einmusika) to make a remix for ‘Voices in the fog’ and the result is truly exceptional.
