I was featured in the Guinness book of world records in 2010  Had many mentions in best seller books, cited in Law schools and universities world wide and more.  To this day, I am a frequent subject of discussion in Universities world wide for legal and business matters.

Another fine example of world wide coverage about the 873 Million Dollar Man, Adam Guerbuez.

I created a website several years ago that claimed to sell a self produced dvd of homeless people beating each other up in the mean streets. I then contacted the media to complain about such a terrible website and and product, it became viral in no time and the media contacted the local authorities about it. Six separate criminal police investigations were launched and the international media picked up the story. 

In the end, everyone found out that I cleverly duped them all and there was never even one dvd manufactured or sold. I think the police were quite angry, but they have the media to blame for making my HOAX so believable. All Good fun at the end of the day and ensuring I keep my Controversial name alive and well in the Headlines!

Born in Angola, raised in Portugal, André has been connected to music since he's been a child, from Michael Jackson and POP music, Koffi Olomide and NDOMBOLO music, Rei Hélder and KUDURO music, Jamice and ZOUK music, Nélson Freitas and KIZOMBA music. 

He found himself sucked into the music world but would later be atracted the most by the HipHop Culture, presented to it's core form through a child's Tv Show called MixMax at the age of 9 and later on by Will Smith, Puff Daddy and Portuguese Mc Sam The Kid. 

After fourteen years struggling to be seen and feeling disconected to the country, at the age of 26 he decided it was time to move on, rebrand himself and expand his music and poetry through other languages. On October 27th 2022, Michael joined the Venice Music Collaborative.

Tears of Technology is an electronic musician / producer who is inspired by such artists as Ford, Infiniti, Kyper, Robert Miles & Tony Faline to just name a few. His style is a mixture of Breakbeat & Trance. The Tears has over a decade of experience in what is known as "vocal breaks" or Neo Freestyle as some refer to it. He also produces other breakbeat styled genres such as eHop (Electro Hop) & Electro. 

The man behind Tears of Technology produces trance music under the artist persona New Orleans' Dan the Man. Dan hails from the city that care forgot long ago, New Orleans, La. Growing up in a culture rich environment that heavily urban is what attributed to the unique sound of Tears of Technology. When you grow up in a city like New Orleans, things like music are the only outlets you have.

Tears of Technology first gained recognition for his independent release of the album "The Soul Never Forgets". Since this release he has appeared on several labels as a remixer such as Jive / Zomba, Island, XYZ, & Live Wire. He has co-wrote songs for London Exchange, a popular 80's freestyle band. He produced an entire maxi single for Casa Records entitled "Lady" by Jim Davis Jr. He has also appeared as executive producer on several releases from his own label 504 Productions.

The Tears's compositions are emotional based tunes that come directly from his heart & soul from the top of his head. Tears of Technology's songs like "Get the Funk", "Empathy" & "Killing in My Name" really get to the root of who he is as an EDM artist. His message is one that is inspired by great artists & intellectuals such as John Lennon, Bill Hicks & George Carlin. A true artist that is more about expression than competition.
