I'm Hackurr / D87 - I've been a music producer, DJ and writer for two years.

HACKURR - Jungle, breakbeat, 90s rave, drum and bass, quirky electronica.

DREAMER EIGHTY SEVEN - French house, future funk, filtery disco jams, stuff to get DOWN to.

I produce and spin a mix of jungle, breaks, filter house and disco, but my musical tastes have varied over the years and are constantly changing.

I've had the wonderful opportunities to have released on some awesome labels - Deep Extreme (Michigan) Asionyta (Belgium) Creux La Nuit (Uruguay) and my own label Soda, which ran from May 2024 to July 2025.

I'm also the head writer and creator of At The Discotheque, a blog about French house, future funk, disco and the blog house revival - which has been running since February 2025. I've had the opportunities to interview Louis La Roche, Corrout, Opierm, Luv4Loop and a host of others, with lots of great people planning to appear soon. 

Also an author elsewhere! I hope to get my second novel done soon.

Amiga Junglist and D&B fan since 1993.
It all begun in 1990 with an Amiga 500 and some floppy disks with protracker and some samples.Me and my brother were trying to discover music in this program and for some years i was hearing and studying other artists song how this program with notes samples and a pattern with 64 steps was playing so perfect. it was 1992-3 when my brother sold the A500 for an A1200. It was time to play for real with protracker again and a sampler was added to the music tools plus a sony portable cd player that i was ripping samples and vocals from audio cd's. It was fun and creative and then the music started. Drum n bass happy hardcore breakbeat and Jungle beats was something out of space for hearing audiences in Greece those years and not many kids were hearing this music. I was tripping in my mind to compose my own drum n bass , other times choppy other times sloppy and not perfect but hey, who cares. me and my buddies were listening to this shit loud and here i am again today. Years have passed but the passion never gone away for my Amiga and my music. I still own the same A1200 from 1992 and you can find a project i done in my personal wix site converting A1200 into a home theatre pc case.
Never give up, never too late for some oldschool drum n bass. Hope you enjoy.
