How Water Flows Through The Landscape

As our first collaborative effort, this STARTED as a synthwave song that I(Fallon) couldn't RESIST FILLING TO THE BRIM with my favorite sounds and samples! There's a few world percussion as well as some fun-textured IDM one shots and loops! 

And like any good synthwave song I produce, it has to turn into SOMETHING. CUE DANNY with what we kindly refer to as the "INDUSTRIAL SOUP." I had a BLAST working with these industrial noises and mixing them with my glitchy percussion. 

We hope you enjoy this Kafka-esque metamorphosis of a beautiful, catchy synthwave song into an utterly-chaotic soup of noise, and back again, with a stronger beat!!!!

Metallic Metamorphosis

"Eye to eye..." is more than just a song—it's the intimate moment before a farewell begins or a connection is forged. Inspired by the true, incredibly moving story of a veterinarian who learned over 40 years that the most important communication happens without words.

This track translates his reflections into a soundscape:

The pulsing sub-bass is the relentless heartbeat in the room.

The slowly evolving pads symbolize the silence and the weight of the moment.

The whispered vocals are the thoughts that go unspoken when you look into someone's eyes.

The sudden operatic swells represent the overwhelming waves of emotion that wash over you in these moments.

This is a track for headphones, for 3 AM. For the moment you realize that the deepest eye contact can say more than a thousand words.

The Dream Garden

Augustus awoke with a glassy tinkling in his ears. It was so cold that there was a sparkle of fine frost over the dormitory. On his bed lay a long, elegant crystal, shimmering from within. It was his last dream, frozen solid.

Wrapping his ragged blanket around him, Augustus cradled the frigid fantasy and sneaked out. He felt sick with fear as he descended the steep, narrow staircase. His bare feet were numb and he clenched his jaw to stop his teeth chattering

He knelt by the grey stone wall at the end of the garden, rocking the glistening gem in his arms until the first beam of the rising sun fell upon it. The crystal gradually lost its luster, fading and shriveling until Augustus was left holding the body of a large lizard with glowing skin. Its diamond eyes faded in the dawn light.

Fighting back tears, he scraped a hole in the vegetable patch with his bare hands, burying the body with the others. As he crept back to bed, he prayed he would dream no more dreams, at least until it was warmer and they could find their own way to the garden.
