For me, music is not just about notes or the catchy melody. For me, it needs to be a harmony between melody and message. I would say the message for me is as important as the musical part. 

For example: "When you make up your mind" is about not letting circumstances rule life; about taking control of this journey that we´ve been blessed with and grab the key and open the door to life´s possibilities!

But I´m also, know and then, up for the senless lyrics that´s just there to make the song groove! 

Lately I´ve been using Garageband for Ipad to record; I love the flexibilty it gives: If I want to start recording a tune on the bus...I can. Feelin´Groovy, STEP IT UP, Flyin High and Peices among others are recorded using Logic 9.

The covers are all, except Yesterday, recorded with garageband for Ipad.

DJ Wasp is a prominent figure in Belgium's drum & bass scene, having played a vital role in its growth and development. He has gone by different aliases throughout his career, including Gamorah Sound, Primate, and Undertone.

Wasp's journey in the music industry began in the mid-90s. It reached new heights when he became a part of Gamorah Sound, a trio that helped popularize drum & bass in Belgium in the early 2000s. The group's success led to them being one of the first drum & bass acts to perform at the Pukkelpop festival.

After Gamorah Sound disbanded, Wasp continued making music under his name and as Primate, exploring the deeper sounds of dubstep while promoting a more diverse range of music. His efforts resulted in LOOP, one of Belgium's most significant dubstep events, and Therapy Sessions, which impacted the country's drum & bass and dubstep scene.

Dj Wasp's online mixes and radio shows helped him gain international recognition and continue to be popular today. He has performed at several festivals, including Let It Roll, Tomorrowland, Rampage, Laundry Day, and Pukkelpop, in countries such as the UK, Holland, Germany, Spain, France, Israel, Poland, Canada, the US, Romania, Denmark, and the Czech Republic.

DJ Wasp is widely respected for his masterful mixing technique, seamlessly blending various genres and subgenres while incorporating impressive live edits. His ability to manipulate tracks on the fly has earned him a dedicated following among fans and fellow DJs. Recently, he has been focusing on creating new music. With his unique approach to music and unwavering dedication to his craft, DJ Wasp continues to impact the underground music scene significantly.
