For the past twenty years, Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based artist Juan Pablo Pfirter has been a driving force behind a sound that's alternately steely, dark, and uplifting, remaining true to the founding principles of techno while infusing it with his avant-garde touch. 

Since his early days, whether through DJing, producing, or as a label owner, Pfirter has demonstrated his talent with focus and style. He's left his mark on esteemed labels like CLR, Figure, Mord, and Stroboscopic Artefacts with select singles, while headlining renowned electronic music venues and events such as Berghain, Tresor, Concrete, Awakenings, and Time Warp. Since his first European tour in 2005, Juan Pablo has tirelessly shaped one of the most distinctive sounds in contemporary electronic music, blending stadium-sized kicks with textured organic elements and hypnotic sub-bass motifs that remain captivating after countless listens. 

In 2006, Pfirter launched his own imprint, MindTrip, which has since become a prominent fixture in the techno landscape. The label serves not only as a platform for his own productions but also for those of his close friends and collaborators, including luminaries such as Flug, Kashpitzky, Nørbak, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dold, and more. Additionally, MindTrip has thrived through its monthly podcast series, featuring acclaimed artists like Angel Molina, Setaoc Mass, and Amotik, each presenting an hour of music that embodies the ethos of the label. 

Having released over 50 club-oriented records, Pfirter ventured into the realm of albums with 2019's "The Empty Space," offering a panoramic view of the subtle intricacies and emotional depth of his craft. His sophomore album, "Altered States," further explores the nuances and expressive possibilities within techno, balancing club-focused realities with introspective, psychoactive elements deeply rooted in the genre's tradition. 

Continuing to bridge the gap between the visceral and the cerebral, Pfirter consistently delivers compelling works that resonate long after the last strobe light fades. While his singles dominate specialist charts, the depth of his compositions lingers in the minds of listeners long after the club doors close. In Pfirter's hands, darkness becomes oddly comforting, inviting listeners into his unique sonic universe.

Navigating between Deep House to Techno always keeping it in low BPM, SB Mark is not an usual DJ when you talk about music style. “I Love Classics, Love how people indentify themselves into tracks they don’t even remember where they first heard and my job is to mix those sensations into new beats before the crowd notices it, its all about having a good time.” Remarks the Brazilian DJ who appreciates a good energy flow between the dance floor and DJ Booth. 
From a small city, at very Young age SB Mark was introduced to Hard Techno, at first, then moved to the US for an internship and studied music industry for about 6 years, played in small clubs and after parties between college and work. Meanwhile he’s Worked Side-by-side with guys like Gui Boratto, Junior C, Nina Kravis and Richie Hawtin, in very general tasks from tour manager to social network advisor.
Sb Mark is current living in Brazil and working in a couple of projects of his own into bringing more fans to learn more about House Music Genre and its variations without Just labeling it EDM.

Navegando entre Deep House e Techno, SB MARK não é um Deejay que segue rótulos em estilos musicais: “Eu curto clássicos, desde a época que frequentei noites memoráveis com Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone e Boris em New York City, onde residi e toquei por 7 anos. Eu sempre junto discursos épicos, vocais que fizeram parte da minha vida e continuam me inspirando até hoje. Apesar da minha escola ter sido o Techno 4x4, eu sempre busco o inesperado durante meu DJ Set e no final todos curtimos juntos” declara o DJ.
Seu affair com música eletrônica começou há mais de 15 anos, quando começou a produzir eventos em Sinop-MT. Em 2005, quando se mudou para os Estados Unidos, passou a ter outras inspirações e começou a tocar para os amigos em pequenas festas. Daí em diante passou a tocar em clubs e bares no eixo New York, Massachusetts e New Jersey, onde passou a estudar e se formou em Negócios e Entretenimento ("Entertainment Business”). Também nos EUA,  foi o tour manager do seu principal mentor, Gui Boratto, em diversos festivais e gig's, sem contar trabalhos com assessoria para o pai do Minimal, Richie Hawtin, e a diva do techno Nina Kraviz.  
Desde que voltou ao Brasil em 2012, SB MARK não para em suas pesquisas e seu estilo musical continua evoluindo, acompanhando as tendências que acompanham sua identidade, seus olhos e ouvidos continuam voltados para à próxima combinação de culturas e elementos que, juntas, refletem como resultado um DJ SET único.
