There is a lot of talk about being in the rest of God or entering into the rest of God. Which is good but limited by our human understanding of “the rest of God. Rest is not in the Shabbat – Rest is In God.  Clearly the Shabbat was not a source of rest for God; He was the source of rest for the Shabbat. - Shabbat rest is not a day, it is a state of being.This rest is an exchange of energy – I am in Him and He is in me. In this place of God resting in me, and me resting in God an exchange takes place. I bring my empty vessel and enter His rest, in this place of rest my empty vessel is filled with the divine nature. This  is not a once a week event, this is actually a moment by moment event. It is recognizing the Lord of the Shabbat in every aspect of my being.
