Tobago Tracks co-founder Sylvere returns with a hypnotic three- song EP for the label. With vocal-based tracks and sensual, sparse rhythms, Katsu Katsu reflects a new direction for the Parisian producer. Title track ‘Katsu Katsu’ receives two interpretations, the first featuring debut vocals from Sylvere himself and the second being led by Roz Mihah Drey. This is a breezy, dripping EP to roll in the summer.

SIN FRONTERAS is a DJ mix that weaves the many threads of the musical diaspora in the Americas. centering Cumbia as the lengua franca of this diaspora, the mix travels across the continent sonically, reintroducing classics & blending them with contemporary bangers.

SIN FRONTERAS is an attempt to temporarily suspend the socio-political borders placed on us mentally & physically; it’s an attempt to emphasize celebration as an act of resistance & community solidarity.

In the face of militarization of the borderlands, we trust that our art & the art of our peers will help us imagine a continent without borders; a society that isn’t split by dehumanizing legislation; a better world for the youth & the generations to come.
