This song is my reinterpretation/remix of "Conversations" by Juice WRLD. my version switches up the theme, by rapping about money, grind, women, guns and resilience. My goal was to give the track a nice bouncy vibe shift while still paying homage to Juice. Y'all let me know if you want more mainstream remixes in the future. I recorded this track at East Coast Park near where he has lived his whole life. It is great to record in spaces that have deep meaning to the practitioner as you can hear their connection with the place in how they play. The sounds are more relaxed and familiar as they tell you their story with sound.

He wanted to do this recording near the ocean because he liked the sound of the water at the pier. The water there sounded more like the ocean instead of the beach. An infinite queue of large cargo ships formed a seemingly impenetrable barrier along the horizon. The beating of a small boat motor could be heard passing in the distance. There is no sound of place, no foundation we could reference. Everything was arbitrary, floating, even us. It began to rain so we ended our session there.

"Sound Bath Sessions" fuses sound art and wellness by recording sound baths around Asia. The main purpose of the project is to be a platform that connects local practitioners and listeners together. 

These are not your usual sound bath recordings. Recorded live and on location, they are honest portraits of what a live sound bath sounds like to immerse you in their world. They capture the flavor of each location giving them a sense of identity and culture for everyone to hear and belong. 

Please note that some recordings may contain noises that could make the experience quite challenging, but listeners of all levels will be able to find a track to enjoy. Sound Bath Sessions is a Bivouac Recording project.

Half English/half Sicilian D-Vox AKA Daniela Rhodes first touched the wheels of steel over 20 years ago, with the purchase of her Technics 1200s back in 2002. She's supported Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Sunscreem & Brandon Block, has played at some top venues and events including MOS, Es Paradis, Logic Fest and Soundwave Fest, and has shared the bill with craft masters Matt Fax, Frankie Wah, Junior Jack, John00Fleming, MarkEG, Space Brothers, and Cristian Varella, amongst others.

From mixing hard dance in her bedroom inspired by Tiesto, and through the heavy influence of her music loving parents, Daniela competently and passionately delivers multi-genre DJ sets ranging from feel-good disco right through to the deepest, darkest techno, and has gained a wealth of experience as an artist since her music journey began.

D-Vox is also a versatile vocalist and, since her days of singing old school garage classics into her hair brush with a dream of one day becoming a singer, she has developed a unique ability to accompany instrumentals within her glowing, multi-genre sets with her impressive live vocals.

Daniela is steadily becoming recognised for her skills in the studio as well as on stage and has worked with many respected artists including Philth, JP Lantieri, Xspance, Fractal Architect, ACAY, MellowD, Monsieur Pluspetit, Sweet LA, Collate, Audioglider, J Luada, Matt Black & Chris Sterio, Somar Nomar, Findike, Dolby D, Martyn Nytram, Mogi Wa Wa, Doppelstern, Stu Chapman, Joey Fehrenbach, Col Lawton, to name a few.

Her collaborative releases span across a multitude of highly acclaimed labels including Bonzai Progressive, Superfreq, Dispatch Recs, Upon You, Morphosis, Krafted, Cinematique, RG Music, Big Speaker, Zulu Recs, Modus Vivendi Records, HoTL Records, Stripped Music, ARRVL, DeepDownDirty, Flemcy Music, and many more.

Daniela hosted her live show 'D-Vox & Guests' on Bournmouth’s Afro*disiac Radio for 5 years before making the hard decision to step away from radio to focus on collaboration projects. She's also aired popular shows on Southampton's Voice FM and Germany's Progressive Beats Radio between 2015-16. Her 3-month residency at a luxury Ozen By Atmosphere resort in Maldives was a highlight in 2017, and she spent the next few years that followed laying her foundations in Ibiza and Aiya Napa, performing at top night spots with Parasol Collective, ANHP, and Voice FM.

D-Vox has made many guest appearances on nationwide radio stations, including London’s legendary LifeFM, also at Shine879 in Essex, and with BBC Radio 1 residents Krafted for their radio show streamed live from The DJ Shop in Southampton shortly after which she was invited to play at their quarterly event supporting the mighty Matt Fax alongside Krafted residents.

An amazing opportunity was then presented to D-Vox, by dj/producer Laurent Schark, to share her sound on his Live Selection Show; the worlds’ most syndicated radio show reaching out to 3 million listeners which she accepted with a very big smile. The segment featuring Daniela was unknowingly picked up by Italian cable channel Canal 7 that streamed her live set, and artist interview, out to the Mediterranean masses.

With the help of her South African soul friend DJ Sharm Pillay, D-Vox sailed into 2019 with a four-page spread in global Audiation Mag's Jan issue which included her snap on the cover. Following this she was invited by Sharm to share some melodic techno moods with her SEKSiCuLLTURE listeners on Melbourne's Kiss FM, Australia.

As well as being heavily involved in the practical side of music Daniela is also a keen writer of more than just her deep and meaningful lyrics. She copywrites for Flemcy Music, Findike Records and Dark Hooks Records, and provides music and event reviews, press releases, pitches, and proofreading services on request.

Daniela also a proud member of The Black Chapel Collective; a passionate group of creative artists founded by Essex based music producer Steve Mortimer, with a worldwide, multi-award winning film & live show 'Connect', addressing important global issues using contemporary music, visuals, graphics, speech samples, poetry & dance.

With a bustling music diary, an ever-evolving and dynamic catalogue of works, and with producers queuing to work with her captivating vocals, Daniela has her foot firmly on a pedal powered by her relentless passion for the music she loves. Who knows where her talents will take her as she continues to share her positively infectious, and highly creative music energy as far & wide as she can spread it.

John-Paul was raised in West Yorkshire in the UK and has been obsessed with dance music ever since hearing Sasha at Back to Basics in the early nineties. Labels such as Strictly Rythmn, Limbo and Guerilla shaped his teenage years, as did weekly trips to Renaissance, Up yer Ronson and Cream to pay homage to his heroes - Sasha & John Digweed. John-Paul began DJing in pubs in Yorkshire when he was just 16, but it wasn't until he moved to London that he found the scene he was looking for.

Running club nights soon followed, alongside long-time collaborator Robin Arnold – including the legendary 'Biotech' parties on the south coast. Everything clicked into place with his Farringdon based night 'Futurism', located around the corner from Fabric. The essence of the night was to push DJ's that were thought to represent the future of progressive house, and John-Paul DJed alongside exceptional talents such as Steve Gerrard, Nigel Marcussen and Matt Simpson. In 2005 John-Paul moved to the USA, and quickly found like-minded DJs such as Jeffrey Collins and Quantum, and immediately gained a monthly residency in The Pearl Bar in Columbus, Ohio.

John-Paul has since returned to the UK and secured a residency on Saturo Sounds Radio. He runs a monthly show called 'Conversations', which has been running for over 8 years. The idea behind the show is to ask one of his favourite DJs to do a guest mix, which he uses as inspiration for his set. It's following has gone from strength to strength, with fantastic mixes from the likes of Ian Dillon, Kiz Pattison, Samuel Lamont, Jon Towell, Matty Wright, Lee Jordan Nick Craddock and many more up & coming DJ's. He’s also provided guest mixes for Subcode Radio, Progressive House Classics, MixPub, Proton and many more. 

Recently John-Paul and Robin Arnold have brought the Futurism brand back to life, with their own label and productions. Their first ‘Collective Futurism EP’ is being released on Saturo Sounds label in 2023. Both tracks and remixes 'Vladivostok' and 'Third fiddle' have been getting fantastic feedback and support from a lot of great DJs.

Always passionate about pushing the deep and dark, intelligent sounds represented in his mixes, John-Paul continues to move with the scene, but never deviates from the progressive sound that first moved him nearly 30 years ago.
