Aisha and the Astronauts are a 3 piece acoustic, vocal harmony group, playing originals, pop/soul classics and current chart hits. Fronted by singer-songwriter, Aisha (previously of ska band Miacca) who is joined by Kate Jones on bass and Rhiannon Lord on Cajon/percussion. 
As a rhythm section, Kate and Rhi are tight, together and compliment each other perfectly, as only musicians who have been in bands together for many years can. 
They also accompany Aisha's powerful lead vocals with a range of backing vocal styles, from subtle sounds to full, three part harmonies - while strong, catchy tunes show off the sweet, sad and sometimes silly lyrics. Aisha and the Astronauts put on a fun, engaging and intimate show.
