As an artist I am using evolving technology not only as a medium in itself but also as subject.
Streaming, layering and reinterpreting multiple live art forms simultaneously. Finding where science meets spirituality and walking the fine line that exists between both camps; without indulging the dogma of pseudoscience or being blinkered by scientific myopia.
I dedicate the use of technology and it's bastardisation to improvise live images that relate to and directly influence the situation, i.e. music, dance, theatre etc. an element of chaos is intrinsic to all my work.
Growing up in the inner cities of Birmingham gives my work an urban outlook. With a science background I have a rational perspective and having being brought up by hippies i have an ability to live in the moment.
I am able to pick something up and run with it, in terms of new ideas/technology/performance, I have innate multitasking skills, and am able to use geeky technology to express non-geeky ideas.


Haitchc was the main musical project of artist Raghunath Khe between the years of 1993 and 2006.

Lord Tappi was released in 1996 on Sinusoidal Records, with 7 new tracks and 5 unreleased tracks from 1993.

Anythinglike was a 5-track EP released in 2001, also on Sinusoidal.

Bigkidlifestyles was a well received dj mix of idm, glitch, downtempo and ambient released in 2000.

The early work was created using a combination of FM synthesis and 8bit trackers. The 1996 tracks incorporated some 16bit waveform synthesis, albeit still primitive. The later work was created using a more conventional loop-based sequencer setup.

Raghunath Khe has been an intrinsic part of the evolving conscious / fringe dance culture for more than 25 years. An innovative composer, producer, and dj, they are interested in the transformational properties of music, movement, bhajan, and community. They have previously released four albums - earlier ones under the moniker Haitchc, and have composed multiple original film scores.

Raghunath is a formal brahmana initiate within the brahma-madhva-gaudiya sampradaya (lineage), having spent several uninterrupted years as a monk studying and serving in temples both in Canada and India. They belong to the sodalities of bhakti, tantra, and ashtanga, and through familial succession, draoidh healing practice.

Regularly performing, teaching, and orchestrating events, they are affiliated with Full Moon Medicine, Back Beyond, Waxing Moon, and Intention Gathering, and are a co-resident dj and organizer at Vancouver's long-running Just Dance night. In addition, Raghunath contributes musically and otherwise to various festivals and gatherings locally and internationally.

A long-time radio presence, they are currently the host and producer of Mantra Radio on CiTR 101.9fm in Vancouver.
