"LEARN" is probably one of my proudest creations put to Sound Cloud so far, due to it's Jhené Aiko/Bryson Tiller type of vibe. I've shown snippets of this song to many friends for them to give me a massive thumbs-up, saying it's probably the best, most chill beat I've ever made.

There is still quite a big debate whether I should add lyrics to this song since it's my type of genre to sing/rap along... but I might just hand it over to someone else with the right voice to do so instead. 

I aimed for an R&B/Hip-Hop type-beat after discovering the second sound introduced after the repeating lounge-like piano played throughout the song. A soft kick and reverbed snare sounded perfect to distort and chuck in, and to complete the taste, I finely chopped up an electric preset to give me that high pitch, skip-like sound (which fascinated me so much despite its subtlety!). A sprinkle of sound-panning, octave-switching and breath-taking breaks really helped with this dish of music moving towards the end of the song, and finally an unexpected aggressive echo to cease.

hello! sorry for not posting in a while, i didn't have my equipment. i still don't, but my wonderful mum has replaced all of it for me, so i've been recording a lot. i'll be able to post much more soon.
