A "Music Entrepreneur" at heart, I have been lucky to dj around the world and to release on respected labels such as Freerange and Atjazz Record Company.
I'm also the founder and A&R of the respected Room With A View label (since 2009) and co-running Rocco Rodamaal's Memories imprint (since 2018). Always up to help independent artists to grow, I'm happily consulting many of them behind the scenes.

João Bernardo da Luz, natural da Ilha da Madeira, atualmente residindo em Lisboa. Começou a sua carreira em 2004, e desde então já tocou em várias casas da noite portuguesa, tais como o Marginal, Café do Teatro, Molhe, Kapital, o 36, Clube Ferroviário, Triplex, entre outros, e tendo também partilhado a cabine com vários artistas internacionais e nacionais. 
Atrás da cabine, as escolhas musicais são diversas, desde o disco e o funk, ao indie e o rock, mas como o próprio nome do artista indica, electro será sempre o foco.

Of the small group of bands now emerging out of Luxembourg, Hal Flavin may be the most individual yet.

What you get is an edgy rock band, grit, dirt and all, who hang their stage with a futuristic dangle of cables, effects and finery, as if prepared for some strange ritual of the soul. 
The blood flowing through those jacks and data chips seems pumped from the Indie and Electro-roots of their teens, with live energy to match. 
And if references are not music to your ears - once you get hooked on one of their pop-driven melodies, you'll be all fired up... with no questions asked.

Hal Flavin was founded in 2007 by indie-punk musicians busy with installation art and stage scores, soon to be completed by two pure-blood groove lovers on bass and drum. Since the release of their first EP, 'The Talk', they write and produce as a four-piece and have shared the stage with Metronomy, Delphic, Kraftwerk and Does It Offend You Yeah, to name but a few.

… seit 1994 im Kultur- & Musik Biz, war ich zunächst im Bereich der Austellungs-, Seminar- & Event-Organisation aktiv. 
1999 übernahm ich die Herstellungabteilung bei einem unabhängigen, physischen Musikvertrieb und erwarb dort meine Kenntnisse über Vinyl- & CD-Manufacturing, Musik-Marketing und Sales-Promotion, sowie klassisches Label Management von der Pieke an. 
2001 wechselte ich ins Team der EFA-Medien-Distribution nach Hamburg und sammelte dort beim Vertriebsmanagement von Labels wie z.B. Basic Channel, BPitch Control, International DeeJay Gigolo Records, Kanzleramt, Chicks on Speed und Tresor weitere internationale Erfahrung. 
Ab 2004 konzentrierte ich mich, mit der Gründung meiner eigenen kleinen Consulting-Agentur electroslam.com, überwiegend auf die die digitale Musikvermarktung und beriet als Freelancerin Vertriebe, Labels und Künstler. So konnte ich u.a. maßgeblich am Aufbau des Distributions-Labelpools des unabhängigen digital Dienstleisters finetunes GmbH, mitwirken. 
Parallel habe ich daran gearbeitet mich verstärkt auch in der Buch- und Verlagsbranche zu professionalisieren und wurde 2012 von der Zebralution Gmbh in Berlin zur Leitung der E-Book und Hörbuch Abteilung berufen. Dort koordinierte ich das E-Book Produkt- und Vertriebsmanagement für Verlage wie u.a. Bastei Entertainment, Rogner und Bernhard, Koch / Hannibal und Diaphanes. 
Zudem war ich für die Akquise und digitale Vermarktung der Hörbuch-Labels von Random House Audio, Argon, Bastei Lübbe Audio, Hoffmann & Campe, Hörbuch Hamburg und vielen anderen zuständig. 
Aktuell bin ich seit Mitte 2015 als Senior Content Managerin im Bereich Hörbuch, Hörspiel und Podcast beim Streaminganbieter Deezer in Berlin tätig.
