BIO:
Hailing from Basingstoke is Armitage Shanks, a dnb and dubstep dj/producer who was a resident at York based Herbal Mafia, Bass Kitchen Worldwide, Kaohsiung, Taiwan and now lives in London.


Dutty Hands is the Dub production alias of Nick Thompson aka Captain Nick, member of the Irie Vibes Soundsystem / Cranky Soundsystem.

Cranky General is one of the founding members of the Irie Vibes / Cranky Soundsytem and has been playing his unique blend of roots and deep dark twisted dub for years to the York audience.

The BigShot Sound System - the U.K's internationally acclaimed original reggae radio show from Newport City Radio - deep in the heart of South Wales.

Established in February 2007 with 1ft Wide Radio, we built a small but hardcore fanbase. 
We were invited by Newport City Radio to join their team in 2009 and that enabled us to broadcast to a much wider audience.

We broadcast live on Newport City Radio most Sunday's at 8pm UK time / 3pm Eastern time /12pm Pacific time etc (times change very briefly to allow for DST)
With roots firmly planted in the 1960's, you can expect to hear the finest cuts of ska, rocksteady, Boss, early & original reggae. 
We also include a sprinkling of roots, dub & lovers rock in the now infamous 'ease in' segment which is broadcast 15 minutes before the main show.

BigShot is all about audience interaction and participation, so any requests, dedications or suggestions can be made on Facebook live during the show through the event created for every new show.

We believe that it's all about the music, so the BigShot philosophy is - less talk, more tune.

A Travelling man hailing from the UK, I­-niverse has played alongside sound systems and has worked with the likes of Earl 16, Amelia Harmony, Tuff Lion, Sister Jahia, Don Hartley, Sister Naffi-I, Jabesh, Sister Sherin, Jahiauncan and is currently working on numerous projects with artists internationally.
