A dynamic Austin based trio rooted in punk, alternative and rock but mostly Punk Rock. Created in January of 2017 and already making a name for themselves. Half As Bad consisted of lead vocalist/bass player James Daily, lead/rhythm guitar player Jesse Burkhart and drummer/back up vocalist Alfonso Art Aguilar. Half As Bad released three singles early 2018, Bitchin' Summer, I was gonna tell you, and Today. These singles were recorded by recording engineer Kevin Butler @kevinbutlerproductions. Since their release, these three singles have been captivating audiences and getting worldwide attention via Spotify/Apple Music. Later that year HAB stepped back into the studio and released their first full length album entitled 'Wild City’ November 16th 2018. Since then HAB have been staying busy promoting the album, playing shows. On January 2019 Half As Bad welcomed guitarist Ernesto Calderon to the HAB family.  In 2020 during the pandemic, Alfonso and Jesse had to depart the band as a result James moved to guitar/vocals, Ernesto moved to drums and Michelle Ramone joined on Bass in 2022. In 2023 They released a full length album ‘What You Hear Is What You Get’ on Otitis Media Records.
