Vancouver-based producer and DJ Braue delivers the fourth episode of SBTCAST.

Known for her enveloping and emotionally charged sets, Braue blends deep house and soulful techno with bright synth melodies, subtle distortion, and layered textures. A classically trained pianist, she brings rich musicality to her productions and live sets alike.

Founder of the label UBU and a key member of Subversive Music, Braue is committed to building community through high-quality, forward-thinking events. With recent time in Berlin and past gigs alongside The Black Madonna, DVS1, and Steffi, her sound continues to evolve with depth and purpose.

Gilles Aiken, the Berlin DJ better known as Edward, makes shadowy club tracks with a surrealisticedge. He evolves his DJ sets with a sharp sense of groove but it's his cosmic streak that gives his music depth. Over the years this combination has made him a mainstay of the Giegling crew. Further labels he works with are Baby Fords Trelik, Pal and Fankfurt based “DieOrakel”.

Very happy to release this incredibly special set from a wonderful artist and friend in Gizem (aka Gizem Öz) recorded earlier this year at Garage Noord x No Clubs in Amsterdam. 

This three and a half hour lesson in musical storytelling weaves seamlessly and effortlessly through ambient & experimental soundscapes, downtempo, dub techno, deep techno, house & everything else in between.

Sohrab Karimi aka Ahu https://soundcloud.com/ahu_sohrab is a producer born in Tehran, Iran, living in Berlin nowadays. Ahu is one of the few artists who prefer to adopt low profile, with little to almost no information about him, beside his music.

Ahu’s signature sound is almost impossible to capture into words: introspective blue, sometimes with a Giegling feeling, other times with deep & dubby references to the minimal house scene, yet always authentic and promiscuous.

Little do we know about https://soundcloud.com/shahr-farang nor https://soundcloud.com/kolonygorky, Ahu’s record labels and homes for much of his releases. The labels reflect his vision about the electronic music, with ambient soundscapes, experimental concepts and sometimes dancefloor oriented cuts.

Somewhere in 2017 Ahu accepted our invitation to contribute to the Introspections series with a mix built with his own productions. To this date, it remanis one of the most beautiful mixes we’ve ever hosted.

“Driftform” est un voyage suspendu au cœur de la techno minimale. Le morceau combine des pulsations subtiles et des couches de drones en mouvement lent, créant une sensation de flottement continu. Les textures aériennes et les réverbérations profondes glissent à travers l’espace, invitant l’auditeur à se laisser porter par un flux hypnotique et introspectif.
Entre minimalisme, abstraction et méditation sonore, “Driftform” explore l’idée d’un mouvement sans destination, un espace sonore en perpétuelle transformation.
