Digital Diamonds presents MEXCALITO, a young, authentic and talented artist/producer & DJ. When he is not performing or travelling, he spends most of his time at the second home – the studio. His productions are being released by some of the world's best underground techno/minimal labels, such as: Subios Records, Evil Flow. Records, Digital Diamonds Records, Alpaka Muzik, Trippy Cat Music, Shadow Wulf Records, just to name a few. In the electronic music scene of Cologne and KohPhangan, mexCalito is a well-known and familiar name. His unique music style is a composition between techno, zenonesque, minimal and is influenced by a haunting psychedelic groove. Abuk offers up the eighth serving of Dessert in the form of the Take It Safe EP, ably assisted by remixes from Innervisions' EdOne and Dessert's very own Argia.

Born in Buenos Aires, Abuk has long been fusing the spirit of melodic and techno with a galaxy of global sounds, showcased in particular potent form on this EP.
The lead track Take It Safe is a strikingly atmospheric club track, packed with dramatic glitches and melodic edits but controlled with expertly applied constraint.
Morse Code follows up, taking a more slow-burning approach with layered arpeggios and a jagged bassline. It builds up to a dark crescendo, before sweeping in with the kind of unexpected cuts and swerves which will be sure to keep a crowd guessing.

EdOne's reimagination of Morse Code taps knowingly into the original's energy, pushing the atmospherics into more ecstatic terrain and flipping the neat percussive edits into essential parts of his remix's irresistible groove.

Argia flips the title track to close out another excellent edition of the Dessert series. She rebuilds its parts into a ferociously driving slice of melodic house, perfectly crafted for maintaining main room energy in any setting.

I Promised Mom es un artista con sede en París cuyo viaje musical comenzó en 2021 e inmediatamente obtuvo el apoyo de muchos artistas de la escena indie dance y melódica, lo que le dio la oportunidad de profundizar en la construcción de su propio estilo.
La combinación de sólidos ritmos de percusión, sonidos oscuros estilo disco y un toque de influencia retro le permitieron crear una especie de firma reconocible desde muy temprano, recibiendo nombres de la talla de nombres bien establecidos y abriendo la puerta para entregar más música en varios sellos en el meses que siguieron.
Luego de dar estos primeros pasos con éxito, Adrien alias I Promised Mom ha seguido cocinando ritmos electrizantes mientras define su propia identidad, y lo mejor seguramente está por venir con mucha música para compartir.

The new material features the band not only doing what they do best  - singing songs about feeling low and getting high - it sees Sticky tighten their focus, and songwriting, and come up with a bunch of  psychotic surf dub love songs. 
They have turned up a bunch of songs about the bands four members recent break ups (this band breaks up in cycles apparently). Co-incidence? We're not really sure. Shortly after the band started touring each of the members went through a break-up and this bunch of songs tells the story (albeit through glorified glasses). The release continues the development of their charismatic genre mash sound. Psych, surf dub garage: Caress your Soul smashes it all together.
